I have a new article published at both Preaching Politics http://www.preachingpolitics.com/text/2015/t20151224a.html and on the Hagmann site http://www.hagmannandhagmann.com/archives/2937

I hope that everyone will read it and comment (and watch at least the first embedded video).

Here's the beginning - it goes on to discuss government surveillance and their control of us:

Quote :

Is Science Mere Propaganda? Censorship, Control and the Widening Gap Between Materialism and Reality.
By Georgann Ryan (Internet Pilgrim)

A firestorm of sorts was ignited by preeminent British biologist Rupert Sheldrake of Cambridge University, over his recent lecture at TEDx Talks, Whitechapel. Sheldrake dared to question the commonly accepted atheistic, materialistic theory of science and the assumptions behind them during his presentation. As a result, an anonymous committee of scientists who are outraged over his worldview (and not his science or his credentials) have banned the talk and removed it from the TEDx Talk Website.

There have been reams written about how the controversy between science and the Catholic Church of the past resulted in a split between the objective and the subjective, with the doctrines of the Church on one side defending the outmoded worldview of the Bible, and ‘science’ on the other. This supposedly limited scientific inquiry until the Age of Enlightenment. That obviously is untrue, since today science is filled with propaganda as much as the dictates of the Roman Church of the past ever were. It clearly is anything but neutral, since this action demonstrates conclusively that it only publicizes and accepts “science” that bolsters its own (currently popular) atheistic worldview. The theme for the conference was “Examining Existing Paradigms.”

Rupert Sheldrake has dared to question the nature of reality, so that now, in science as in the political realm, the actual meaning of ‘tolerance’ is becoming clear. What’s interesting about this dispute is that Sheldrake is not a Christian, so he can’t be attacked on the same grounds as those scientists who support intelligent design, for instance. What this whole incident does do, is to expose the mindset behind the coming one-world Beast system and the rigidity that demands not just conformity to it, but an embrace of it. It’s not enough to live and let live; coerced acceptance is the only acceptable choice under this new belief system.

Sheldrake is the author of “Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home” and his research was addressed in two of my posts for God’s Health System “Understanding and Bonding Between Pets and Their Owners, Parts 1 and 2”. For more information on his cutting-edge research and theories such as morphic fields, which link pets and the owners to whom they’re bonded in amazing, psychic ways, see these two posts.

In a Skeptico interview with Sheldrake on this controversy, the host asks, “Have the folks at TED…done Rupert Sheldrake a favor by highlighting the dogmatism that is in materialistic science, or have they merely stepped in and provided the appropriate controls that science needs to keep weird ideas from spreading around? How do well-meaning science, technology, edgy, whatever you want to call it, news sites properly filter information so that on one hand we don’t have to wade through a lot of nonsense, but on the other hand, we don’t get a homogenized message or worse yet, a message that has been intentionally shaped for a particular purpose?”

These are good questions, ones that we should ask ourselves because like it or not, increasingly we’re being tracked and shaped by the encroaching, elite-driven Beast System. The goal is one unified hive mind with total conformity and control. And we’re almost there.

Sheldrake’s presentation briefly covered some points made in his latest book, “The Science Delusion” (in the US titled, “Science Set Free”) where he focused on “the belief that science already understands the nature of reality in principle leaving only the details to be filled in. This is a very widespread belief system in our society. It’s the kind of belief of people who say, ‘I don’t believe in God, I believe in science.’ It’s a belief system which now has been spread to the entire world. But there’s a conflict in the heart of science between science as a method of inquiry based on reason, evidence, hypothesis and collective investigation, and science as a belief system or a worldview. And unfortunately the worldview aspect of science has come to inhibit and constrict the free inquiry which is the very lifeblood of the scientific endeavor. Since the late 19th century, science has been conducted under the aspect of a belief system, or worldview, which is essentially that of materialism, philosophical materialism. And the sciences are now wholly owned subsidiaries of the materialist worldview.”

Sheldrake then lists the ten assumptions or dogmas which result from this view, and more fully covers two of them in this short presentation. It’s a brilliant talk, one which removes the strictures of materialism and asks questions about the nature of reality, such as whether nature is really governed by fixed, immutable laws or whether the evidence actually leads to a different conclusion. If you have the slightest interest in this subject, it’s a video which should be viewed because he does an incredible job of overturning all of the existing paradigms and raising questions which science should be asking – and he does it in a mere 18 minutes.

That was a good article Internet Pilgrim. It brought up an important issue we've been facing: the distortion of just about everything and censorship, even punishment, for pursuing the truth or daring to use your own mind. Like in the book "1984": How many fingers do you see? and the answer would be, How many do you want me to see?

i don't know why people would want to act like that, but they do. Tares are tares after all and you can't expect them to act like wheat. But how should wheat behave in times like these? i guess that's the question.
