THE “JEWELS” OF THE LORD AND HIS RAPTURE FOR THEM

WHEN THE RAPTURE IS FINISHED, THIS EARTH WILL APPEAR LIKE A JEWELRY STORE THAT HAS BEEN TRASHED AND ROBBED OF IT’S FINEST JEWELS. The Godly Saints throughout this earth are indeed the “JEWELS” of our Lord Jesus Christ. Malachi prophesied of this matchless hour when, “they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my ‘JEWELS’.” (Malachi 3:17a) This passage of truth in the Book of Malachi is one of the most breath-taking prophesies about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture in the First Testament.
The Holy Ghost does not miss one detail of this future glory. Let me give you the entire context so you can study this beautiful prophesy. “Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.” (Malachi 3:16-18) Every aspect of this event is described by this prophet of God and leaves no doubt of its certainty.
First, the Spirit identifies the separation of this company from the careless that claim to be ready. They are characterized by the fear of God which sets them apart. They talk without embarrassment about the Lord and their passion for Him. Their mindset is one of singleness to not just talk but to live with Him written on their minds and in their meditations. These saints are engaged to the Bridegroom and have allowed no infidelity in their life. They are dressed in the wedding garment and are careful that nothing spoils their immediate readiness to walk right into the wedding chamber.
These “JEWELS” are His and He is well aware of their devotion to Him. When He says, “And they shall be Mine,” when the hour arrives, there is love in His voice. (SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN AND HE COMES TO GET HIS LOVERS WHO ARE HIS “JEWELS”. This hour is so described that it is clear that a developing world calamity is already awesome in it’s terror. His Words show that the event about to occur is His hour of judgment of the wicked. Malachi described that terror with these words, “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. (Malachi 4:1) The invasion to occur includes the terror of the Lord”s Judgement as well as the anger of the Antichrist as the wrath of God against the wicked is manifest.
This is why the prophecy states, “and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.” (Malachi 3:17) These “Jewels” can no more be allowed to go through the Great Tribulation than a Bridegroom would send his Bride into a war zone just before a wedding. These “Jewels,” are His treasures in the compromised church world. They stand out in every gathering. They are distinct as they endure the marketplace. The children of parents call these treasured lives the sweetest in the family. This crowd is pure and set-apart.
Now notice that He does not just remove them up with Him to the wedding, but brings them back to both purify the earth and to reign with Him. He says, “Then shall ye return and discern,” when He comes to fight the Battle of Armageddon. These “JEWELS are going to be kings and priests, and reign on the earth with Him a thousand years. Look at the next word in this transcending prophecy, “As calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 4:2-3) Malachi was like a man born out of His generation that looked way down in the future and described some of the greatest of the Father’s plans and promises.
These Jewels are rare, and you are invited to be one with them. They are priceless and cannot be purchased except by the Pains and Blood of Calvary. The world as a whole has no use for such separation, but these “JEWELS” love the Lord so intently, that they show no resentment. They have paid the price and consider it but nought. There is a protection of these “PRICELESS JEWELS” by the Holy Spirit. Nothing will be allowed to spoil their beauty. God loves for them is so Divine that they wear a beauty of His reflection.
The Raptured “JEWELS” will soon be gone and the world will be trashed by the impending judgment. The saddest reality is the multitude that have been deceived into a false assurance. This company of the Raptured are His “JEWELS.” Their purity is the splendour of Christ’s redemption and their wedding garments are white as snow in His holiness.
