Eastern European Leaders Call For EU Army At Summit With Germany

European Union member states discussed on Friday the creation of a join European Union Army during a meeting with Germany for negotiations regarding the future of the European Union after the departure of the United Kingdom.


Hungary’s conservative prime minister, Viktor Orban, said to the European Czech, German, Polish and Slovak leaders. “We must prioritise security, and let’s start by building a common European army,”


Pro-socialist leftist progressive Czech Premier Bohuslav Sobotka said that “we should also begin a discussion about creating a common European army,” as reported by Breitbart News.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel also supported the idea of a creation of a European Union Army saying “Security is a fundamental issue, we can do more together in the areas of security and defence.”
