PostSubject: Moon flower sun star   Sat May 27, 2017 8:38 pm

i was over at Common Sense YouTube channel and saw the following symbol. It looks like a flower, doesn't it.

i recognized it right away. It's the best representation i've seen yet of the symbol on my birth registration (which is not a good thing). i call it the death star. After researching it, i think it may be the symbol of Shamash but now i'm thinking the moon god and/or Saturn. Anyone recognize it or have any ideas as to what it represents?

the bottom pic, just off of the top of my head, seems more toward the symbolic representation of mithraism

Ha ha! The god of contracts (the contracts you didn’t know you have). That fits well.

Thanks for your answer. If you have the time, will you please tell me why it makes you think of Mithraism?

the rays appear off of the circle, with the same rays in the shape of horns....it looks like it could be a representation of Ba-el (osiris, mithra, etc) with the rays coming off of the circle representing the sun....

your cair symbol appears to show the crescent moon pointing in all four directions, symbolic for covering the four corners of the world with islam, and the star in the middle....the crescent moon and morning star(venus) are the symbol for islam and also an islamic caliphate according to history

Thanks, i've been trying to pull those names together for a while now. i hadn't thought of equating Mithras with Shamash.

Yarikh - Moon - Sin - Chandra
Yarikh may be biblical Jared.
The marriage of Yarikh (Moon) and Nikkal (Sumerian Ningal).
Sin the moon god of Arabia occupied the chief place in the astral triad.
The other two, Shamus the sun god and Ishtar the planet Venus were his children.
His wife was Ningal (the great lady).

+ Nikkal - Ningal (the great lady), Queen of Sheba, Ethiopia, and Egypt.
aka Hatshepsut - Makeda - Makera (Ma-Kare) - Maekaure - Nicaule - Nikaule - Ningal
She is the mother of Inanna and Ereshkigal.

Shamus - Shamash - Apollo - Mithra - Math Pramathyu-s (the thief of fire) - Sun - Utu?
   The sun god.

  Ereshkigal

  Ishtar - Venus - Inanna - Semiramis?
Dumuzid is the jewel of Inanna’s throat.
  Freyja of the golden necklace.
She wore it as a sign of the wrong she had done.
  Nefertiti wore a golden necklace.
  Kybele wore an Amulet.
  Semiramis married her son Ninyas/Tammuz.

     Ninyas - Tammuz - Dumuzid
     Odinyas - Dionysus
