Yes, was very interesting. This subject has been a topic of discussion many times in the past on this forum. It's one of my favorite subjects on this forum. For those who are new I spent some time digging up some of the older topics here. Go check out the links and whatever you do, don't miss the video "Jerusalem and the Lost Temple of Jews" by Ken Klien over on Amazon. Free to stream for Prime members - couple O bucks for non-prime. Also DVD of this (I have this DVD). A must have book you'll want from Ernest L. Martin "The Temples That Jerusalem Forgot". I have this book and it is super detailed and exhaustive! The 15 part study over at Biblestudy.net isn't to missed for peeps serious about this topic. Best part of this great study is - IT'S FREE!
I'm glad to see this topic come up again. Now, go forth and learn.

Thank you Yaddy and Researcher. This information fascinates me and I'm more excited than ever to dig in and start comprehending. The links are much appreciated too. I have a good feeling like I did when Michael first offered research that opened my eyes. I'm always concerned about posting a link that was posted earlier so if and when that happens, just let me know and I will fix it. judy

That's never been a problem here, Judy. Hope you and that merry band of yours down in the heart of Dixie are all doing well and will get something good out of all those "previously posted" links I just re-posted. A re-posted link is kinda like getting reminders. No harm in 'em.
That "above" goes double for the rest of y'all too!

With all of the anger and violence going on over the current dome of the rock site, I think the only way the Temple will ever be rebuilt is for the current Jews to accept the information on this City of David location .If they did that, or "someone" could convince them, then that would be it. The" final countdown" would start... I think I hear that "Rocky " theme... my opinion though.

Here I must point out that me is thinkin' that the Jew's third new temple will probably be build right on top of the (false) acknowledged temple mount next to the dome of the rock or someplace thereabout. The end of Ezekiel from ch 40 on says Yeshua Himself will build His temple after the tribulation dust settles and you can count on it being built in the correct spot. This happens after the tribulation and second coming. I call it the fourth temple.
Could be wrong . . . but Ezekiel says what it says.

Thanks for the videos guys! I knew that couldn't be the western wall of the temple because it is still standing, but have never looked into what it really is. It is both sad and funny that they could have the location of the temple so confused.

I first read Ernest Martin's exhaustive work on the real Temple Mount location over 15 years ago and he convinced me then that he was correct about it being in the City of David location and not on today's Temple Mount. It's a great piece of work.
You should read his book "Star of Bethlehem" where he the laid out the argument that Jupiter was the planet (star) that led the Wise Men to Jesus in Bethlehem. He believed and calculated that Jesus was born on September 11, 3 BC. Interesting man he was.

Rawblues, I have heard that about Jupiter, too, but I don't remember who was putting the idea forward. They had software that supposedly let them run back what the sky would look like over time, and they showed their evidence of Jupiter in the sky at a time that would line up with the birth of Christ. I think they also said it was sometime in September too.
I have no way to prove or disprove it, but I do think it is possible and very interesting.
