Great video.

They even had Trigonometry. I reckon they don't teach it because it doesn't fit the evolutionary paradigm. You have mankind as a dud for several hundred thousand years and then BAM fully formed advanced civilizations.

sansanoy, mankind has only existed,as we know mankind, since Adam. Genesis 1:2 is important, as is Genesis 1:28 in understanding what probably happened as far as your statement on man being here for "hundreds of thousands of years"...There probably was something here, as Genesis 1:2 in hebrew translates for the word WAS as "hayah"which mean "was" or "became" and "Tohu va vohu" for VOID AND WITHOUT FORM. The text could actually read "The earth BECAME VOID AND WITHOUT FORM. Genesis 1:28 quotes God instructing them to "be fruitful and multiply and REPLENISH the earth".....So, that is indicative of something being here,pre-Adam. There are some subtle little possibilities about the creation story. I don't know the truth concerning the "summary" in chapter 2, as some call it, or if there are two creations of man. i assume one, but if read carefully, there is room for discussion of a possible difference than the official "sunday school version"...personally, i do believe there waas something here before Adam that was destroyed, possibly by chaos caused by the planet that was destroyed (rahab), creating the asteroid belt....i have always been suspicious of the genesis story, not that its not true, but that we might be missing parts of it

I'll second everything michael371 just said in his post above. This is where my years of research has led me to also. Something was here pre-Adamite - but what? Jeremiah 4 says there were cities broken down so whatever was here had intelligence. Have to have some kind of smarts to build a city.

i was going to put this in, but i let it slide through all of these dead brain cells and it got away before the living cells could grab it....put all of this together, and i just don't see how a person cannot,at least, consider the real possibility of pre-adamite race of something.....

notice the differences in the two stories of the creating man/Adam?....they are different in context and substance.....i don't accept the "summation" version of the two, but i don't know if i can accept what appears to be the obvious,either....i'ma going to get back to this in the morning over coffee, and use the voice reprobation (SWIDT?) program and show you why i am not satisfied with the genesis account, at least not completely satisfied.

Genesis 1: 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

notice the seed was already in the earth, and He did not create the plant life?

in chapter 1, the animals were created before man and it appears that he created male and female at the same time because He told them to be fruitful and multiply in verse 26-27.....without looking up the hebrew to back the theory up, it also appears that he made "he him; male and female created he them," or he made both Adam and Eve into one body, as stated in chapter 2.

Now, in chapter 2:7 it says "7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." There is a problem here because He formed man before He brought forth the plant life in chapter 2 and after in chapter 1.

Now look at the animal creation. Animals came first in chapter 1 and after in chapter 2. Rather than get into commentaries, and debate and twisting things around and endless hypothetical maybes, I see a problem with the prescribed explanation of creation, don't ch'all?

My position is that ALL scripture is inspired by GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!! So, retaining that position, that position being that the Genesis account is correct and what we are told is not correct, how do we smooth this all out? The first one that says the word "evolution" will incur my wrath and I will hunt you down and kick your ass, so don't even go there, although there is something that bugs me about the wording of verse 21 in chapter 1:"And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good."LOL,reading that verse would indicate that birds came out of the sea,wouldn't it?

Let me hear from you on this. I love the book of Genesis because the entire bible is spelled out in there,from beginning to end IF you can read the roadmap provided

I just mean that is what they teach in science. ~200,000 years iirc.

I think the dating is all wrong. They have found dinosaur soft tissue, and bones (not fossils) and we can actually carbon date them, which shouldn't be possible past 50,000 years (iirc the limitations of C14)
