Inflicting ‘Social Justice’ on Gun Rights and Wages

As of this writing, it has barely been 24 hours since President Trump instructed the DOJ (Department of Justice) to ban “bump stocks,” the modification that enables a semiautomatic rifle to fire rounds at a rate of fire similar to that of a fully-automatic weapon. The Democrats already have hundreds of pages of proposed legislation to ban different types of weapons. This current directive of the President (via Presidential “Memorandum”) is heinous in the fact that it is yet completely undefined. Nobody knows what “modifications” will be covered in a document banning them. The fact remains that it could be so loosely interpreted as to encompass any part or accessory not made by the manufacturer and included with the original firearm. This attack on firearms has been incremental and not unexpected: nobody thought the Democrats would cease their efforts with the current administration in office. Then again, who would have thought an American President would cave in so readily at the behest of the liberal gun-grabbers and the “court of public opinion” on this matter? I have written in numerous articles that the paradigm shift will continue to move to the left. It is taking a “breather” with the current administration…but society is still moving toward socialism in thought and action (termed “community”) as well as groupthink and redistribution of wealth (termed “social justice”). It’s not just the guns. There are other sectors that are rapidly moving in this direction. In 2011, the Obama regime had one good thing that it put into place. The Department of Labor upheld that wages earned by waitresses, waiters, and other service people who are employed as bellhops, bartenders, and room service attendants…these people were entitled to keep their tips. And why not? In the United States, is not a worker entitled to what they earn? Well, not anymore. The Trump administration has approved of a DOL rule change that would make it mandatory for service people to share tips with others who do not directly interact with the customers being served. Sharing the wealth. Yes, this is now to include people who were forbidden to take any tips by law unless the server agreed to it, such as cooks, groundskeepers, and others. In addition, it is being ruled that employers now “own” the tips. Exit free enterprise, and time to crush another group of people and distribute the wealth. You would have thought that Obama made this rule change and the President made the one in 2011, that’s how diametrically opposed to one another these rules are. Now “tip pooling” that had previously been only able to be done with the consent of the employees can now be forced. This will also bring more income “into the light” for taxes. There’s another insidious vampire lurking in the wings…another “partner,” so to speak, on the stage to “craft” the demise of the tip: The National Restaurant Association. When this rule goes through, wage theft, overtime theft, and tip theft will run rampant…and the National Restaurant Association will benefit from the thefts (soon to be labeled as “appropriations” …the whole thing is termed a “rescission” under the Color of Law “reforms”) by the added income to restaurant owners that will trickle to them. Oh, and the new rule would benefit the President: he would be able to keep and profit from his employees’ tips in all the different business that he owns. Here’s What That Means for Restaurant Workers And here’s an excerpt from one of the “prominents” of the restaurant industry, showing the new, politically-correct (and Socialist) thought that “must” govern tipped workers:

It is anent control, dominion, and redistribution of the wealth…to make everyone poor…everyone will wear the same uniform, have the same wage, and suffer under the same burden of taxes and profligate spending of those funds by politicians. It is all about exempting themselves and placing the burden on the citizens. First, we have “flying monkey” Cruz with his perfectly-timed rampage that so conveniently sets up “changes” in existing firearms laws, and next, they’re doing more to place everyone on the same treadmill at exactly the same rates…the community collective…the group hive. The ones who “craft” the laws are fine with all of it: they are not subject to the laws themselves. They’ll continue to take the money…the worthless fiat currency that supports the phony, artificial system…that collapses eventually in the design of Cloward and Piven. When they take the firearms, it will be a different matter. The “turtle and the scorpion,” and when that turtle takes the scorpion across the river, the scorpion will sting him. Money manager Michael Pento says that profound chaos surrounding the economy is coming. The insolvency is becoming clear, and soon, we will no longer be able to sweep the problem under the rug. Sitting down with USA Watchdog’s Greg Hunter, Pento discussed the chaos people predicting in the markets and says that it’s already here. Pento is the author of the book titled The Coming Bond Market Collapse, as well as a financial expert and he says the media is lying when they say the economy is doing well.

“There are so many things that can go wrong with rising interest rates. First of all, you have to understand that the permabulls that you hear on CNBC will tell you there is nothing wrong with rising interest rates. It is a symbol of growth. If you look at industrial production and retail sales for January, they were negative. So, rising rates are occurring, not because of growth, they are caused by insolvency concerns. That is the key metric here, and they are credit risks and insolvency concerns.”

That happened in the 1970’s, but it’s going to be worse because in the 1970’s, you didn’t have an insolvency concern. . . The chaos coming to markets is here. The years from 2007 to 2017 were the years central banks were buying everything. There was no volatility, and stocks just went up. Those days have ended, and the volatility is only going to become much more profound.”
Hunter then asks Pento to explain who is insolvent. The answer isn’t calming in the least.

“They’re all insolvent. Europe is insolvent. The United States is insolvent. We have $21 trillion of national debt…it’s seven times our revenue. So we are technically insolvent. And you haven’t seen anything yet because as interest rates rise, debt service expenses rise. The ECB is insolvent, certainly, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the Bank of Japan is insolvent. I’ll tell you who else is insolvent…you asked me what’s gonna happen. So, as interest rates rise from 1.4 from where they were in the summer of 2016, to well about 4 %, and I think it can go much higher…I think the end game here is that central banks are going to come back and buy everything. What we’re gonna have here is a collapse in the bond market…and as interest rates rise, it’s not just treasuries that are gonna blow up.”
Pento is not the first market analyst to show a grave concern over insolvency. The U.S. deficit is beyond any control at this point. But Hunter presses Pento after he uses the term “unwinding” to describe the dire economic situation the government has gotten us into. Hunter asks if there are people whose debt is just going to be wiped out and if at some point, the debt is going to go to “zippo.”

1st Lt. Nick Vogt receives the Bronze Star and NATO medals earlier this year.
In May, we featured Marilyn Durso's story—a mother who donated blood to the Armed Services Blood Program to honor several service members who were injured during their deployments. One of those soldiers was 1st Lt. Nicholas Vogt. After stepping on a roadside bomb while deployed, Vogt was severely injured, losing both of his legs and would require nearly 500 units of blood to save his life. On Nov. 12, Vogt will celebrate his first "Alive Day" — the day his fellow soldiers saved his life. Both stories are a true testament that donated blood to the military blood program truly does save lives every day.
Nick Vogt graduated from West Point in 2010 with an acceptance to medical school and plans to become one of the Army’s top trauma surgeons.
But first, the Ohio-born 22-year-old wanted to understand the physical and mental demands on an infantryman in combat. So he went to Ranger School and Airborne and landed with 1st Stryker Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, first in Fort Wainwright, Alaska, and later, Afghanistan.
“It felt necessary for me to go out there, to experience what the soldiers experience, so when I’m a doctor, I’ll know,” said Vogt, now 24.
In Panjwai, near Kandahar, Vogt’s affable demeanor and willingness to learn quickly earned his men’s allegiance.
“I really liked the guy. He was really motivated to get out there and work with us,” recalled team leader Sgt. Adam Lundy.
But within two months, the popular lieutenant would be clinically dead, having taken a wrong step onto an improvised explosive device.
And what happened afterward is now a chapter in the annals of military medicine.
On Nov. 12, Vogt, now a first lieutenant, will celebrate his first “Alive Day,” the anniversary of the day both his legs were shorn off by a makeshift bomb. He survived, receiving 500 units of blood, more than any other casualty survivor in U.S. history.
His story epitomizes the advancements in casualty care in the past decade and illustrates just how far the U.S. military will go to save one of its own.

The term ‘crisis actor’ has been in the news a lot lately, because [size=13]conspiracy theorists have accused survivors of the Douglas High School mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, of being actors—people paid to pretend they witnessed a horrible tragedy that actually never happened and was instead staged by the government in order to garner the political will necessary to ban guns.[/size]
To be clear, there is no evidence this is actually the case. Conspiracy theorists have questioned the legitimacy of people who lived through a horrific shooting—watched their friends and classmates slaughtered—in an attempt to harass and silence their political activism. “Crisis acting” is now a term that’s constantly bandied about by the Alex Joneses of the world and has been used to explain away terrorist attacks such as the Boston Marathon bombing and the Bataclan Nightclub shooting, as well as most mass shooting events in the United States. It has become just as important as “false flag” in the conspiracy theory lexicon.
It wasn’t until relatively recently that conspiracy theorists were audacious enough to suggest that terrorist attacks and mass shootings actually didn’t happen at all. Laura Phelps is a crisis actor who lost children during school shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012 and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018.
In the aftermath of the December 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary shooting that left dozens of students dead, some local parents had their names dragged through a cesspool of conspiracy theories and they were falsely accused of being “crisis actors.” That includes Nick and Laura Phelps, who are the parents of two children who attended the school in Newtown, Connecticut and survived the shooting.
A new wrinkle was added to these rumors after another school shooting in February 2018. The devastation at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which left 17 dead, somehow inspired conspiracy theorists to claim that the Phelps had returned to the headlines as “crisis actors,” this time with a daughter who attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. This post also claimed that Phelps’ lost children in the school shootings at both Sandy Hook and Marjory Stoneman Douglas. That is not true. An elderly man is suing two federal government agencies for Constitutional rights violations. The rancher claims that both agencies trespassed on his property and installed cameras on his trees without his permission – but the icing on the cake was when they threatened to arrest him. According to ARS Technica, last November a 74-year-old rancher and attorney was walking around his ranch just south of Encinal, Texas, when he happened upon a small portable camera strapped approximately eight feet high onto a mesquite tree near his son’s home. The camera was encased in green plastic and had a transmitting antenna. The rancher removed the camera, and that’s when the trouble began for the feds involved in this property violation. Soon after, Ricardo Palacios, the rancher, received phone calls from Customs and Border Protection officials and the Texas Rangers. Each agency claimed the camera as its own and demanded that it be returned. Palacios refused both, and they threatened him with arrest. Palacios saw the camera as the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. So he sued. He sued both CBP and the Texas Rangers for continued violation of his property and Constitutional rights. “My client is 74 years old, he’s a lawyer, been practicing for almost 50 years, he has no criminal history whatsoever, law-abiding citizen, respected lawyer, and senior citizen,” Raul Casso, one of the attorneys representing Palacios, told Ars. “To have put him in jail would have been—forget the indecency of it—what a way to end a career.” In court filings, Texas officials have claimed qualified immunity, a legal doctrine that protects law enforcement officials. The camera now remains in Palacios’ attorneys’ possession while they are attempting to ask the case’s judge to allow them to formally introduce it in court as evidence. This federal lawsuit has raised thorny questions about the limits of the government’s power to conduct surveillance on private property, without the landowner’s permission. “As a matter of policy, CBP does not comment on pending litigation,” Jennifer Gabris, a CBP spokeswoman, emailed Ars Technica. In fact, the strike appears to be almost nearly head-on with the sign from an elevated position, presumably originating from the airspace between the Luxor and the Delano Hotel. According to Ambellas the shot was not a ricochet and was likely fired from an elevated position approximately 2,300 feet away.
