| This was in the comments at the bottom of the page Spring linked. It was in reference to the photo below. It may help pinpoint the exact area for those folks (like me) not familiar with the district. - Comment wrote:
- That bridge is across the Rogue River just past the very small town of Merlin, headed along the Rogue River on Galice Road towards even smaller town of Galice, where a turn-off road can be taken, then thru the woods and over to Gold Beach. This is NOT going S, it is heading W, and I know because the sign right behind the soldier, in front of the Road Closed, is the sign for my friend's construction company that live along that stretch. This is N and W of Grants Pass.
