The Hobbit ring that may have inspired Tolkien put on show

Lord of the Rings author was researching the story of the curse of a Roman ring for two years before starting Bilbo Baggins tale

I have read these books, over and over, for decades, and I didn't know there was a real ring!

Isildurs Bane..... Not lost, no precious, not lost......

My favorite line.... From Faramir:

Yes, that is beautiful. I hated the way they changed Faramir's character in the movie. A great disservice to an admirable character.
