It doesn't matter when Christ was born; it matters that He was! God became man, and burst into a world full of sin and confusion and danger. He loved us. He wanted to make a way for us to be with Him for eternity, which is exactly what happened.
Whether you go all-out for Christmas or not, think on these things and praise Him for His mercy and great love.

Wonderful Christmas day of family present exchange!
I gave only useful items this year.
Youngest Son I gave a pair of waterproof insulated hunting boots. Daughter got a recurve bow, lot of excitement with that one! Son-in-law got a new spinning reel. Sister insulated waterproof camo gloves. Wife a waterproof camo parka and gloves.
I hope you all got that gift you wanted! Enjoy the rest of the season!
