At least 12 dead in Islamist terror attack at satirical French publication
Black-clad gunmen shouting “Allahu Akbar!” stormed the Paris offices of a satirical publication known for lampooning Islam Wednesday, killing 12 and injuring as many as 15 before escaping, French officials said.


As many as three Kalashnikov-toting shooters were being sought following the 11:30 a.m. attack at Charlie Hebdo, the publication known for challenging Muslim terrorists with a 2011 caricature of Prophet Muhammed on its cover and which recently tweeted a cartoon of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Two policemen and several journalists – including the cartoonist behind the weekly publication’s provocative images, were among the dead.


“We’ve avenged the honor of the prophet!” the killers shouted, according to witnesses who spoke to Sky News. Other witnesses said the men shouted “Allahu Akbar,” Arabic for “God is great.” The gunmen spoke French without any accent, according to Le Monde.


The back-story on this is satire is a no-no and will be met with the harshest of terms, period.  Twelve people are now dead in France because of a cartoon.  This is the face of radical Islam and it’s not going to go away.  France has a very large muslim population as well as other countries in the EU.  Certain sections of Paris are now completely controlled by Muslims and are under Sharia law.

Some folks in Germany are beginning to wake up realizing that Islam will not tolerate their culture and in the end will want to dominate.  Germany has been holding rallies and demonstrations against multi-culti and the influx of muslims in their country.

Some are linking these demonstrations to the ultra right-wing neo-Nazi’s, however, there is a real problem in these countries as many muslims do not want to assimilate but instead want the country to cater to them, primarily with Sharia law being instituted. (See above link)





The bottom line for me is this.  We cherish freedom of speech in this country.  While we can not yell fire in a crowded theater we are able to create cartoons of political leaders without fear of being shot at our workplace…. at least for now.  In France you can get shot for this.


There are muslims who will decry this act of terror and violence and they need to step up and do so. However, as the weeks roll by and the body count rises, it makes one wonder if anything will change.


In Iraq entire areas are now under the control of ISIL, and young jihadists are flocking to join.  The atrocities there are mounting and Christians are being tortured and killed, churches are destroyed and hundreds of thousands of people are being displaced.


Most Americans will shrug their collective shoulders at this story and console themselves by saying, it can’t happen here.  However it has happened here and will happen again.  Fort Hood?  Boston Bombing?


In closing todays post.  We are witnessing a clash of civilizations, and acts of terror like the one in France are becoming more commonplace.


Mark 13:8 tells us: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.


The Strongs definition for nation is: a tribe, nation, people group. 
 
This prophecy by Yashua/Jesus was told to a few disciples, in what Chuck Missler has termed; a confidential briefing.  Now, almost 2000 years later we see these prophetic words come alive.  We are seeing nation rising against nation and coupled with the other signs in this text i.e. earthquakes, famines, lead me to believe we are in the last days.


The good news in all of this is that we are told when these things begin to happen, we are to look up!  Meaning that He is coming back!


With this in mind, we need to pray for Muslims and continue to boldly proclaim the good-news of the Messiah.

The cartoonist (CoCo/Ms. Rey) doing most of the offending coincidentally showed up with her schoolaged daughter outside of the building just as the masked armed gunmen arrived. She was forced to use her security code to let them into the building.

The gunmen fled Charlie Hebdo's office near Bastille, at the south of the map, in a black car, before holding up a motorist at Porte de Pantin and drove away in his vehicle, a grey Renault Clio.

I don't know, the doors are open to different degrees and yet the shape is the same as well as the size of the white areas, which is odd.  Also reflections usually have a peak and fade towards the outer part.  Those look flat and with consistent depth of color if you will, all over.  Not only that, no other part of the car is showing that sort of reflection, if it were a reflection.

OK, I could have been wrong about the reflection. I went directly to the French Citroen web site linked below and they do play around with the mirror enclosures from model to model. The car in the video is most definitely a basic C3 model, by the way. I had a heck of a time with the web site seeing as how I don't speak French. I never located anything about the mirrors but the tire rims are aftermarket options. Maybe somebody here reads French and can find the mirror info.
