The PTB will play any side for the 'win'. And here also is a reminder of how God allows trials and tribulations to strip away all that we allow to stand mightier than He in our concerns about life and daily living.
The true 'Leap of Faith' means letting go of every tree, bush, branch of security as the world defines security, and truly trusting in Him Alone to meet all our needs. Don't worry about the 'seen'. Our provision manifests from the 'unseen' as we give our lives over to God to do with as He Wills, not as we will.
It's fun stuff jumping off that cliff. It's scary and exhilarating. And I don't believe we get to 'not jump'. Though I did see it, still see it, as a high cliff, the song about the River Jordan always comes to mind too. "One more river, and that one river is Jordan. One more river. There's one more river to cross." ...to get to the Promised Land. The Provider of ALL things pertaining to Life and Godliness is within us. Let go of the world..all of it...and gain everything. (my words, not J.D.'s)
I want to know the thoughts of God. Everything else is just details. A Miracle is when God makes His Reality our Experience

Great sermon I just love this great Pastor JD.I watched the news since this terrible massacre in France and the ensuing hype of everyone 'coming together' I couldn't help but think that this is paving the way for the one world religion. I said to my two sons yesterday this very same thing. It is a coming together of biblical prophecy and the stage is now being set for this person Antichrist to make his public appearance shortly. He will put forward his 'solution' for the worlds peace and the majority of people will blindly accept it regardless of what religion they subscribe to. I noticed President Netanahu of Israel and President Abbas of Palestine did not link arms with one another in the long line of world leaders and presidents. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months this year.
