“The notion that the West is at war with Islam is an ugly lie. And all of us, regardless of our faith, have a responsibility to reject it,” the president said, mirroring remarks that the White House has increasingly gone on the record to say in the wake of other apparent religious-based attacks, both in the US and abroad.
“We must acknowledge that groups like Al-Qaeda and ISIL are deliberately targeting their propaganda to Muslim communities,” Obama said. “Muslim communities, including scholars and clerics, therefore have a responsibility to push back.”
Yet as the Middle East and North African continues to strive for economic stability, Obama said, poverty has also played a pivotal role with regards to breeding extremism, especially in modern day Iraq following years of devastating war.
Poverty has nothing to do with the JIHAD, the Holy war being waged by ISIL—Islamic state of Syria, Iraq and the Levant—who want to create an Islamic Caliphate with their brand of Islam, complete with Sharia law, throughout the Middle East, including Israel.
POTUS missed the mark completely, by calling ISIL, the JV team a few months ago. The reality is this, there are 1.5 BILLION Muslims on the planet today and if just 1% of them become radicalized that totals out to 150 MILLION Jihadist’s, those who are engaged in a holy war.
The recent slaughter of 21 Coptic Christians, who were from Egypt, should send a chilling message to all, that this is the face of radical Islam and it is, in fact, a holy war. These Christian men were slaughtered like sheep because of their faith.
The picture on the left shows Sunni Moslems lying in a ditch, with their hands bound, as the ISIL killers shoot them in the head, in the name of Allah.
While the King of Jordan has decried ISIL as hijacking true Islam, we see a mass exodus of Jews in Yemen as radical elements have gained control of that country.
How can we possibly know who is radicalized and who is not and what “brand’ of Islam is the true one? Sunni? Shia? ISIL?
The King has also been threatened by ISIL and after the brutal burning alive of a Jordanian Pilot the King vowed to take the war to ISIL. He then bombed ISIL positions in Syria and amassed over 20,000 troops on his border with Iraq.
ISIL is recruiting muslims from all over the world. Young muslim men are leaving their counties of origin and are joining ISIL.
This is the point of this post. If only 1% of those who claim Islam as their faith become radicalized the number totals out to a staggering 150 million men. That’s almost half the population of the US.
I stated last night on Acceleration Radio that we are seeing the beginning of WWIII. I stand by that remark as the Middle East is where the war is being fought.
With ISIL’s atrocities in Libya, Italy now fears an invasion. Refugees have crossed the 300 mile span of the Mediterranean Sea and are flooding that country.
In closing todays post. Radical Islam is here and we are, in fact, at war with it.
The war ISIL is fighting is a holy war, a jihad.
While most Americans don’t realize it, our country is only a few years behind what is happening throughout Europe, where Islam is taking over and the implementation of Sharia law is in full swing. The Islamists say what they mean and mean what they say. ISIL is fighting a JIHAD and they proudly proclaim it.
In essence we are witnessing two radically different supernatural events, one which became the nexus for Christianity, followed by another 700 years later, which formed Islam. These supernatural events, that happened millennia ago, are affecting everyone on the planet, as this war is becoming global.
While our politicians are afraid to utter the words religious war, this is, in fact, what it is. The 21 Coptic Christian men were killed because they were Christians.
