American and Israeli military advisors were arrested while aiding Islamic State terrorists in Iraq.

Iraqi counter-terrorism forces arrested four foreign military advisors from the United States and Israel who were aiding the Islamic State, Iranian Tasnim News Agency reports.

Three of the arrested military advisors are dual citizens of the United States and Israel, while the fourth advisor is from a Persian Gulf country, Iraq’s Sarma News Agency said.

The foreign military advisors were captured in a headquarters, from where the Islamic State organized its military operations in Iraq’s Northern Province of Nineveh.

The arrests were made during the Operation, codenamed "The Sting of a Scorpion". A number of other Islamic State fighters have been killed during the assault. The detained foreign advisors have now been transferred to Baghdad.

Obama urges Iran to release detained Americans

US President Barack Obama on Friday called on Iran to release three detained Americans and help find a missing retired agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). "At this time of renewal, compassion, and understanding, I reiterate my commitment to bringing our citizens home," Obama said in a statement issued on Friday, one day before Nowruz, the Persian new year, reported Xinhua.

He urged Iran to "immediately" release Saeed Abedini, a pastor, Amir Hekmati, a former Marine, and Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian, and "to work cooperatively with us to find Robert Levinson so that they all can be safely reunited with their families as soon as possible". "The spirit of family is deeply woven into all of the rich cultural traditions of the Nowruz holiday," Obama said.

A shocking report published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) today states that the Kremlin was “stunned” yesterday after Minister Sergey Lavrov endured a nearly one-hour tirade from US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland [photo top right] who, among other claims, “raged” that former Vice President Richard “Dick” Cheney was in charge of the United States, not President Barack Obama.
According to this report, a “highly agitated” Secretary Nuland contacted Minister Lavrov yesterday demanding that Russia immediately order Iran to return to US custody the 4 CIA agents arrested and detained for directing ISIS terror forces in Iraq.

Secretary Nuland, also, this report continues, “bluntly warned” Minister Lavrov that should Moscow ever again provide to France, or any other NATO nation, superior “electronic-technology”, and for the Russian air force to continue disabling US warships, she would further order the American military to “aggressively respond”.
