A US Air Force plane with 10 US military Humvees on board landed in Ukraine, with President Petro Poroshenko personally supervising the delivery of the high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said Wednesday that the Humvees would be equipped with weapons and sent to Donbass.
"The president greeted first 10 Humvees, a vehicle extremely powerful and useful for our military," tweeted Svyatoslav Tsegolko, Poroshenko's press secretary.

"In total, Ukraine is expected to receive 230 US vehicles," said head of special operations in eastern Ukraine Andriy Lysenko, describing the delivery as military aid.
Yury Biryukov, Poroshenko's aide, posted several photos from the event on Facebook.
