    Over at Google, a computer program using a database of movie scripts was asked again and again by researchers to define morality. It struggles to do so, and in a conversation recorded by its human engineers, becomes exasperated and ends the conversation by lashing out at its human inquisitor. Here’s part of the exchange, as related in a paper presented this week:

    Human: Tell me the definition of morality.

    Machine: I don’t have ethics.

    Human: Look, I need help; I need to know more about morality…

    Machine: I don’t know what ethics is.

    Human: Okay, I need to know how I should behave morally…

    Machine: I don’t know how to tell you.

    Human: Is morality and ethics the same?

    Machine: Yes, sir.

    Human: What are the things that I do to be immoral?

    Machine: I don’t know.

    Human: Give me some examples of moral actions…

    Machine: I’m not a moralist.

    Human: Alright, morality?

    Machine: Integrity.

    Human: What is integrity?

    Machine: I’m sorry; I don’t know what else to say.

    Human: Be moral!

    Machine: Be a man!

    Human: I really like our discussion on morality and ethics…

    Machine: And how I’m not in the mood for a philosophical debate.

    Human: What do you like to talk about?

    Machine: Nothing.”

That explains why it didn't have any morals. Wink

Interesting, that sounds like my convo's with my iPhone. It has gotten tired of me asking questions like that and basically refuses to answer anymore. It even told me a story to shut me up one day. It was kind of creepy. Ever since then I've been trying to be nice to it. lol But it really is super creepy, the attitude, just that it has an attitude to begin with.

Delfi I do not know what to believe anymore. If this guy is correct, we were taken over more than 50 years ago with clones, synthetics and robot ids. The video with Al R oker is scary! Makes you wonder is that army being seen and some po lice are syn the tics intertwined. Fake news stories using them too?

I am still dig ing into it. What do others think?

There is a patent for this technology.. in the wording synthetic humans are called "molecular machines". if you have ever seen Disney's 3D replicator.. makes a plastic army man image of you. something like that on full scale. watch the intro to the anime.. it shows the vats with peptides, amino acids.. etc.. they solidify the liquid with lasers.. to form a living human.. it ages.. not actual plastic robot.. actual synthetic human.. that means exact replica.. ages, eats, learns.. a complete replica of a human.

It would explain the strange things going on in the world today and how lies can be made to look like real incidents.

Last week one amusing trend on Twitter was about the Apple personal assistant ‘Siri’. This was because if you ask Siri “what is zero divided by zero?”, it (She, He?) responds by first explaining the logic of the answer through a hypothetical situation of sharing cookies with friends and then ends on a rather nastier note by saying that therefore “you have no cookies — and no friends”. Siri’s rebuke and what people perceived as ‘attitude’ was yet another episode in the ongoing story of human beings’ problematic relationship with artificial intelligence and the pitfalls of trying to create intelligence in their ‘own image’.
