| Heads up peeps! If I had a kid (I don't) in a San Diego school or any other school and wasn't allowed to get that child I would be livid with rage. SAN DIEGO (KUSI) - 12:40 p.m. - Lockdowns have officially been lifted from eight high schools across San Diego County:
Morse, San Diego High, Crawford, Mira Mesa, Patrick Henry, Scripps Ranch, Clairemont and San Ysidro.
The remaining high schools that are still on lockdown include: Kearny, Pt. Loma and La Jolla.
11:55 a.m. - Reminder, parents are advised not to go to the schools attempting to pick up their children.
11:28 a.m. - La Jolla High and Point Loma High have been added to the list of schools on lockdown. Total number of schools on lockdown now at 12.
11:20 a.m. - Serra High School now confirmed on lockdown. 10 total schools confirmed thus far.
11:03 a.m. - San Ysidro High School of the Sweetwater Union High School District also confirmed on lockdown.
10:56 a.m. - Eight school are now confirmed on lockdown: Scripps Ranch, Patrick Henry, Mira Mesa, Morse, Clairemont, Crawford, Kearny, San Diego High.
More schools will be listed as that information becomes available.
10:22 a.m. - It was a single threat made to multiple schools. The list of schools on lockdown has not been released, but four of the twenty-nine schools in the San Diego Unified District are not on the lockdown.
The four schools currently not affected include:
- La Jolla High School
- Abraham Lincoln High School
- James Madison High School
- Point Loma High School
The district has not confirmed which schools are affected, but San Diego High, Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa, Patrick Henry and Morse are believed to be among those which are affected.
The district is telling parents to not come try to get their kids.
10:16 a.m. - SDPD confirmed it was a phone threat.
9:50 a.m. - More than five San Diego schools are on lockdown following undisclosed threat.
