Vaccines shown to spur growth of deadlier viral strains: study

(NaturalNews) It is finally being admitted by the scientific community that vaccines do, in fact, shed viruses and, in the process, trigger the formation of more deadly viral strains. A new study recently published in the online, open-access journal PLOS Biology reveals that so-called "leaky" vaccines – that is, vaccines that are "imperfect" (which is all of them) – spread disease to others and may put unvaccinated children at an even greater risk.

For their study, an international team of researchers looked at the Marek's disease virus in multiple groups of both vaccinated and unvaccinated chickens. Marek's disease is a viral herpes infection that occurs in poultry foul and manifests as a variety of symptoms including nerve damage, paralysis and cancer tumors.

The condition apparently used to be milder than it is now, claim experts, who say that, since the 1980s, Marek's disease has rapidly escalated in intensity throughout North America and Europe. And the reason for this, according to the new study, is that "imperfect" vaccines are literally leaking viral strains that, over time, become increasingly more virulent.

"Our research demonstrates that the use of leaky vaccines can promote the evolution of nastier 'hot' viral strains that put unvaccinated individuals at greater risk," stated Professor Venugopal Nair, head of the Avian Viral Diseases program at the Pirbright Institute in the UK about the findings.

There's no "perfect" vaccine; all of them pose a threat

But wait, doesn't the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) claim that it's impossible for vaccines to shed because the viruses they contain are supposedly inactive? This is what USA Today and other dinosaur media outlets have been reporting, anyway, based on the opinions of vaccine quacks like Paul Offit.

It looks like yet another vaccine "myth" has been proven to be vaccine fact, as no vaccine is perfect, and thus all vaccines are prone to "leaking." This is what parents who oppose vaccinations for their children have been saying all along – that their unvaccinated children are put in danger by recently vaccinated children who are walking disease carriers.

Hilariously, the new study tries to claim otherwise, insisting that vaccines for smallpox, polio, mumps, rubella, and measles all work "perfectly." But we know this is patently false, especially for MMR, which remains under intense scrutiny following the revelation by a Merck whistleblower that the pharmaceutical giant manipulated scientific data to cover up the dangers associated with this controversial vaccine as well as to make it seem more effective than it actually is.

"Specifically, Merck fraudulently represented and continues to falsely represent in its labeling and elsewhere that its Mumps Vaccine has an efficacy rate of 95 percent of higher," reads the Chatom v. Merck & Co. case.[PDF]

"In reality, Merck knows and has taken affirmative steps to conceal -- by using improper testing techniques and falsifying test data -- that its Mumps Vaccine is, and has been since at least 1999, far less than 95 percent effective."

"Less-than-perfect" vaccines are admittedly a threat to public health

Much like antibiotic drugs, which promote the formation of antibiotic-resistant "superbugs" that are immune to treatment, vaccine viruses and their associated virus components promote the formation of resistant viruses that are much more deadlier than their natural counterparts.

This is a major concern with the push to develop an Ebola vaccine, as this already deadly virus could evolve into an even more deadly one, potentially triggering an outbreak of epic proportions. This has already been seen, of course, with polio paralysis caused by the polio vaccine.

"[T]he concern now is about the next-generation vaccines," added Professor Andrew Read from Penn State University, who worked with Nair on this latest research. "If the next-generation vaccines are leaky, they could drive the evolution of more-virulent strains of the virus."

"We do not want the evolution of viral diseases as deadly as Ebola evolving in the direction that our research has demonstrated is possible with less-than-perfect, leaky vaccines."
