Ya know sumptn? I can't help but think that we are really in the very last gasp melting stage of the previous ice age. If the propeller-heads got the dates right almost half of the northern hemisphere was covered in ice a scant 15-20 thousand years ago and what goes around comes around (again).
Ice then heat then ice then heat . . . .
Lather, rinse, repeat!
The propeller-heads have computer models that indicate we go through a mini ice cycle a couple of times in every 100 thousand years or so and one mondo-huge ice age in that same period. There's lots of good science on the Internet about it.
