NUCLEAR DETONATION DETECTED UNDERGROUND FROM NORTH KOREA
Post by Newsroom - Sep 08, 2016
A magnitude 5.3 earthquake centered near Sungjibaegam, North Korea has taken place, and it has the same "signature" as previous "quakes" caused by detonation of a nuclear device underground, by North Korea!
The US Geological Survey (USGS) reports the event as follows:
M5.3 Explosion - 19km ENE of Sungjibaegam, North Korea
2016-09-09 00:30:01 UTC41.298°N 129.015°E0.0 km depth
According to the USGS:
- Quote :
- "Possible explosion, located near the location where North Korea has detonated nuclear explosions in the past. If this is indeed an explosion, the USGS National Earthquake Information Center cannot determine what type of explosion it may be, whether nuclear or any other possible type."
A "Shake Scale" Map shows underground
shock-waves from the detonation were felt more than 100 miles away; including inside mainland China!
It is not known if China was given advance notice of this event by North Korea. The last time such a nuclear detonation took place, it also rattled mainland China and the Chinese were FURIOUS that North Korea never even bothered to warn them of the test.
This is a developing story, please check back for updates.
