I let my daughter Sarah use my 83 Yamaha FG acoustic to take lessons way back, I was invited to see how she was progressing... come to find out her teacher was a member of Fog Hat, commented on the great tone of it.. wow, I know my jaw probably sagged some. I had some others say the same before so was great to have a celebrity say it too.

So when I think of picking some I turn to YouTube oldie since my fingers don't work that well these days.

Sarah plays electric violin these days.

The FG is comfortable in it's case waiting for its next picking session

Real reason I look at the oldies and post is to just go back in time a little to when I thought there wasn't too much wrong with this planet.
Some tunes actually get all choked up, could just be guitar picking or lyrics.
Some of you know what I mean, its part knowing what once was and knowing what's coming.. what's lost... innocence etc.

I understand completely! Nice selection, Spring. I get lost almost every day in my old vinyl and 100's of reel to reel tapes and remember sweeter more innocent times. I'll share a few memories with y'all. Try not to tear up at the sad shape of our country and innocence lost while listening to these.
