Air-Raid Sirens in San Diego and Tacoma; Fighter Jets Seen Scrambling, Reports of “Explosion Sounds”

3:24 AM EDT 13 October 2016 — Numerous reports began filtering into SuperStation95 about two hours ago that air raid sirens were blaring in San Diego, CA, with one reader sending us cellphone video of the sirens sounding!  The San Diego information says that “numerous” fighter jets were scrambled into the air “on full after-burner.”  The brief cell phone video appears below

Additional reports are also coming in say “numerous” helicopters are being launched from Camp Pendleton in California, far more than is typical for late at night.

Don't know anything, Dave. I didn't hear anything last night and I sleep pretty light and bedroom window was open. San Diego is a pretty big place though and we have the USN over in Coronado and USMC in Miramar, both have jet runways and both are quite a distance from me. The article never said EXACTLY WHERE the siren was heard . . . could be anyplace. I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled.

It isn't in the local news here either so I'm gonna be skeptical at this point, but alert none the less.
