| Naftali Bennett pushing for law requiring a referendum before any peace treaty with the Palestinians is signed
Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett is pushing for the government to pass a Basic Law requiring a referendum before any peace treaty with the Palestinians is signed, to mixed responses from coalition partners.
Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, the minister responsible for peace talks, said Sunday that she adamantly opposes the idea, while Finance Minister Yair Lapid is open to it, though many in Yesh Atid are not.
A law passed in 2010 requires any agreement in which land under Israeli sovereignty is ceded to be brought to a referendum.
A referendum of the people (their agreement/consent) to me makes sense to fulfill "the many". What do others think?

I believe it is the LORD Who makes (actually confirms/strengthens) the covenant with many, not the antichrist. |

| You could be right, the preceding verses are about Jesus and he is the context there and it doesnt seem to change. Even because of the abominations, he shall make it desolate.I'm paraphrasing but it seems to speak of judgement. Other versions besides the KJ are more clear. It sounds like Jesus has to thoroughly destroy/clean that temple and it will stay like that until the consummation. | |
