Walter is an amazing scholar. And he brought up some key concerns. I was 'wowsing' all through his presentation. But right at the end I was reminded why he is suspicious of Trump-Pence as it concerns the pulpits of America.
He is a Seventh Day Adventist, and their linchpin is Saturday Sabbath. It's not just big to them.
Without it, one is not following God, maybe not even 'of God' in their minds. And the Word says if you're not of God, you're of the devil.
That said, some of those who are advising Trump are worrisome to say the least. He could have done much better, I do believe. And we're all responsible to do what we can towards promoting the true Gospel as it is written to every listening ear. And we will, I'm sure.
I think God authored the Hegelian dialect and man, as always, usurped it. Does God have an Agenda? A Purpose for all this? A message for humanity? A 'sanctioned' direction for life? Absolutely. And does he let man wonder too far afield so that he might learn and make the Better Choice? Absolutely.
It reminds me that satan thinks he's so clever, got it going on. But nope, nope-
It was a fascinating talk, forcing us to see broader and think deeper yet higher. Awesome stuff.
And yes, and yes, Brother.
I want to know the thoughts of God. Everything else is just details.
