The Likelihood of War In Asia Grows – Business Insider

China and Japan, along with North and South Korean troops at the DMZ, appear one step away from armed combat and tensions don’t look likely to ease any time soon.

New developments within both regions illustrate how close to open combat the four countries are, and how quickly one incident could expand to war among very powerful nations.

Inside the Ring: Blunt warning on China – Washington Times

A senior Navy intelligence official issued a blunt warning last week that China’s growing “hegemonistic” threat to security is destabilizing the Asia-Pacific region.

“Make no mistake, the [Chinese] navy is focused on war at sea and about sinking an opposing fleet,” said Capt. James Fanell, deputy chief of staff for intelligence and information operations at the U.S. Pacific Fleet, at a defense conference in San Diego on Jan. 31.

The comments come amid growing tensions between Japan and China over Chinese claims to the Senkaku Islands, near Okinawa and Taiwan, as well as increasing Chinese military assertiveness in the South China Sea.

China’s navy is escalating efforts to gain control of what Beijing calls “near seas” by using “civil proxy” maritime security ships, Capt. Fanell said.

“They now regularly challenge exclusive economic-zone resource rights that South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam once thought were guaranteed to them by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea,” he said.

Yep, it is true. I've been ridiculed a lot of times because of my analysis of China and Asia-Pacific for the past two years. People doesn't want to believe anything unless it came from some "International" analyst that they do not even know anything about.

Now people believe. From someone living here in Asia-Pacific, in the Philippines to be exact, we have a very unique perspective and access to news the International community (ie outside of Asia-Pacific) doesn't have. Sadly, only few people take it seriously, and only few people sees what's cooking.

The article only touched that frontline of the war. There are plenty more frontlines elsewhere. The South China Sea, with frontlines against the Philippines and VietNam for example.

It is also a political war and the United States of America is falling for it. China will not escalate these things yet. It doesn't want a military war, what she wants is for Asia-Pacific nations to voluntarily choose China and leave the US-sphere for good.

China is making it appear that she's provoking nations. This way, the US will react, make speeches, and her allies do the same.

For example (real example):
The Philippines and the US have a long-standing agreement as permanent allies to help each other. The Philippines reiterated that numerous times, that the US will help the country if this escalated to a military war.

Guess what? Unlike those in our government, we know the US is no longer capable of doing such, especially where it stands today. A few days later, the US made statements contradicting the words of Philippine officials - indirectly.

Japan and the US also have a similar alliance, and just like in the Philippines, China knows very well how to set the trap. So she shifted attention to the China-Japan dispute. As is expected, Japan said the same thing as the Philippines, then a few days later, the US only repeated what she said re: Philippines.

For China, it's mission accomplished. Asia-Pacific nations have now realized that there is no USA to lean on. This puts a strong pressure to all of us. China is flexing its muscles but does not want a military war. How are we going to react and defend ourselves without making it look that we are the ones escalating the situation?

Which again is what China wants, to make us all appear to be the ones responsible for escalating things. And again, which the US only have words to provide to her long-standing allies.

No, I am not anti-US, I'm just saying how much China knows how to play and lay down traps. Very soon, the whole of Asia-Pacific will fall under China's influence and sphere. She already made a promised to us (Asia-Pacific nations), she will not dominate or conquer any country, not militarily, not politically, not even economically.

That she will do. Because it is us who will choose to ally with China, not through force but voluntarily because "we finally saw that there is no more USA to lean on".

China's games:
1) Divide-and-Conquer -- don't let them, especially the ASEAN countries, unite. Address each individually at all costs, they're weaker that way.
2) Lay down traps for the US and her allies
3) Silently praying and telling us "if you can't beat me, join me"

And China is winning.

I haven't even started on Taiwan and how China is "influencing" ASEAN. There is also the Chinese Yuan, and mind you, it is very strong even here in the Philippines, even though our government never issued any (public) statement about the shift. We're keeping with the USD just because the US is our ally, no more no less. China wants to break that, then the rest of ASEAN will follow.

VietNam too, read history, China vs. VietNam. There's a reason why China is messing with VietNam too other than the Philippines, but not with Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and Singapore, despite the fact that these other nations have stakes in South China Sea, even islands with massive oil deposits!

Last but not the least, the Bible has prophesied that Asia-Pacific will ally itself with China in the near future. Don't forget that China is a buddy-buddy of Persia. Persia is China's shield against the West. If the West (EU-led Germany specifically) invades Iran and it falls (and it will fall), China will amass Asia-Pacific's armies against the EU-led Germany, and we will be defeated.

Oh, another clue here: Russia and China has never been as close as they are today. Something the world media is not focusing on (as is usual).

The end is here already. We're just waiting for each phases to begin and end.

Watch out!

I can now see how the "Kings of the East" could field a 200 million man army if surrounding nations aligned with them.
