President Trump has dropped a Massive Ordinance Air Blast (MOAB), affectionately known as “The Mother Of All Bombs,” on an Islamic State cave complex in eastern Afghanistan.

The bomb, used for the first time ever in combat, is a high yield conventional (non-nuclear) bomb with a blast radius that stretches about one mile in every direction. At the time of its development the MOAB was considered to be the most powerful non-nuclear weapon ever designed.

You are so right! I couldn't find the video on YT though.  I always like to see who's fussin at Trump. 

One thing that strikes me as very curious is that they've come out and said 36 ISIS fighters were killed in the MOAB blast.   Everything I've read about this bomb is that in the 300 yard radius of the blast, people are instantly vaporized and that those in the tunnels would have the air sucked out of their lungs and would be crushed under the collapse caused by the blast.

So, in the military's own description of what happens in one of these blasts, how in the world do they come up with an exact death count of 36 on all the television networks within 24 hours of the detonation?   How do you know or count someone who has been vaporized?   How within 24 hours are you able to count those who are probably under tons and tons of rock?   I don't get it.

They're now saying the body count is 90

Thanks.  I heard on the news that they now have boots on the ground where the tunnels and caves were inspecting the results of the blast more closely.  Maybe that why the new revised figures have come out.

Shinwari insisted there were "no military and civilian casualties at all".
