- Some jurisdictions are dusting off their temporary power generators
- Emergency communications are being established
- Traffic control and crowd control will be in force.
- Some states will be running “practice run” exercises, such as Oregon, testing their Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake plan.
- Plan on increased wildfires
