Encouraging Words~

I encourage myself with the Word. How could I not want that Assurance for my brothers and sisters, and for all who are willing to hear and receive the Word as Truth.

Remember, you are not 'them', the scoffers, etc. who reject the Good News of Christ Jesus.  You are not the sinners, you having been 'washed clean'.
You are a PECULIAR people, set apart for a purpose: God's Purpose.  He is the One who directs our steps.  He is the One who holds our life perfectly in His Hands.

Make a list on paper.  EMP's, days of darkness from wherever,  can't wipe out pen and paper.  Even better: Memorize.  Breathe it in and breathe it out, and let the Word do it's Good and Ever Greater Work in you.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jeremiah 17:7–8

From Job 5:
19  He shall deliver thee in six troubles:
yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.


And the whole chapter is very encouraging:



Call now, if there be any that will answer thee;
and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?
² For wrath killeth the foolish man,
and envy slayeth the silly one.
³ I have seen the foolish taking root:
but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
⁴ His children are far from safety,
and they are crushed in the gate,
neither is there any to deliver them.
⁵ Whose harvest the hungry eateth up,
and taketh it even out of the thorns,
and the robber swalloweth up their substance.
⁶ Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust,
neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
⁷ yet man is born unto trouble,
as the sparks fly upward.

and unto God would I commit my cause:
⁹ which doeth great things and unsearchable;

and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.

like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.
²⁷ Lo this, we have searched it, so it is;
hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
