I bet I know why the location has changed. The current administration does not like the B.S.A., because the B.S.A. does not support the homosexual agenda. Accordingly, there is a lot of pressure to keep scouting events off of federal military installations. That's my theory.

I don't know about the other stuff in that article about the Bechtel Corporation, etc.

When do they vote on the gay scoutmaster issue? If something does happen could it either be a warning for the upcoming vote, or a payback for a vote already taken?

I think the B.S.A is supposed to vote on changing the membership policy for boys in about a week. The proposal, if adopted, would allow openly homosexual boys to join the B.S.A. It would keep in place the prohibition against homosexual adults. So the new policy would allow a boy to go all the way through and earn the rank of Eagle Scout, and then it would force the boy out of the B.S.A. once he becomes an adult. A few years down the road they'll be saying how unfair that is.

I know what you mean but there's SO much going on right now its hard to follow it all. No one took an interest in the "terror drill" that took place at Fukishima either, probably for the same reason. (& after we moved Aegis destroyers between there and N. Korea after the un-ster threatened to blow Fuki up)
