Here is the entire ad in case anyone hasn't seen it by now. I should have posted it earlier. Gillette and Proctor & Gamble, owners of the brand, are taking a real beating over this. GOOD!

Below is the trend on the above video. Gillette used their own razor blades to cut their own throat.

Uh Oh...dare I say?  My objection to the ad is it didn't go deep enough into the problem.  
This piece is middle class fluffy and basically a waste of airtime. 

And yes, women do objectify themselves in an effort to conform to a society that promotes sexuality above all else.  Gillette is not the vehicle for correction in this area.
And neither are the pink hats and screaming V's.

No single ad could possibly address  this sick society.  But as they advertise on sports programs so often, they could have started with Dad's flipping out at their kid's games.
Show the kids fighting on the field, and a parent questioning why?
Then flashback to the stands and the parents frothing obscenities at the mouth during the game.
Pick up what some Dad's say to their kids after the game.
At least that might have been appropriate and within the scope of a short ad.

Hi.  Another thing I've noticed lately in much of current MSM, is that most of the related antagonists and such in many commercials, shows, advertisements, et al, just happens to be white guys.  Go back and look at the 'purps' in the Gillette commercial.  They're primarily Anglo men.  I'm hoping the viewership of any of the 'modern media' has better common sense than to be hornswaggled by this nonsense.  I'm getting pretty tired of it too; so much so, that I've disconnected my TV set until further notice.
