If the threat to close the border was to get Mexico to cooperate, then that didn't need to go public UNLESS they refused. THEN tell the people, and THEN do it!
Closing the border~what does that even mean? That's all about trade and leverage against Mexico to stem the immigration tide. That assumes his threat to close it was even LEGAL. Maybe it wasn't legally enforceable. Which is an even worse gamble to his credibility.
And THEN~to give it a year??? Give an unsustainable crisis a year to play out? More blown credibility.
Does anybody go to a wrestling match to watch your guy dance around the ring and talk smack? No. And by the time he turns around and says...yeah, I was dancing to keep the enemy off guard while we won in the background-behind the scenes? That's great UNLESS you're making that announcement to an empty arena cuz everybody got bored-burned out-and has already left.
The strategy is being grossly overplayed to my liking. And we could name examples, from Syria to ISIS to Detroit, to declass to FISA.
Another one: Health care. The big announcement: The Republicans will have a beautiful health care plan! The following week: Uh...we won't have a health care program till after the 2020 election. That's a BRAG AND A BUST.
What was it like when it WAS working. When employers could afford whole family insurance for the workers. How do we get there again?
And WHY can't the people be told LOUDLY AND REPEATEDLY that it's against the Law for Barr to reveal the entire Mueller report? Why is so much garbage talk allowed to continue? So in the middle of the mess Nunes and the boys can say 'it's the same thing the dems did to them? Who cares? That point is already lost in history.
Why let Schiff go on? Yank him out by the collar around his pencil neck. They've got the proof!

This past Sunday I took him out in the Argo in a car seat, along with his dad Nathan riding his dirt bike. When asked more than 3 times in 3 hours if he was ready to go home, there was a quick no from him, turns 4 April 15. When mom picked him up Monday she said that told her how much fun he had riding with Pop!
What a nice day it was just being out after all the rain!

Look, I don't think we're wrong here. Credibility is everything. It's where trust comes from. Smoke screens have their place, but not if you're blindsiding your own troops with it.
There's new information out there but it's tucked in the middle of dossier, declass, fisa, etc. and we've been there-done that ad nauseam. I can't hear Schiff and his little buddy or Nadler anymore. It needs to be over, but it's not. And not for months, if we're that lucky.
And now we're getting total flip flops from POTUS on all the rest of the news that matters. And that's a huge problem, I feel.
I CANNOT fathom how it has not been possible to inundate the news with the truth of the border crisis, to where no one can deny it.
But even as our 'pushing' these boulders of iniquity up this mountain has been in the Spirit and in prayer as much as in informing and reporting, we have quite possibly reached the point of letting go, turning it over and seeking the 'rest', in faith that we've done our part and now we wait on God to be the Finisher.
We have the placeholders to check off progress as it comes. I think we 'wait', Trusting this was God's Plan all along, as I've always felt it was. What we want to see IS going to happen.
