1 John 5:4-5 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Thank Goodness for the middle of the night when my mind is stilled enough from the 'issues of life' that God can get a thought in edgewise. (That needs to be rectified).
What we do here, uncovering the works of darkness, still needs to be kept in it's proper place, UNDER our feet, so that the enemy gains no ground. It does rouse the responses of the 'natural man', the flesh,
and that is a weak and vulnerable position.
And an unnecessary one, according to the blessings God has offered us. If God has committed Blessings to us, then we too can be committed to them, and enjoy all their benefits.
For a long time I've wanted to gather verses that address the various needs of life, as the Word identifies our true provision by faith as we build ourselves up in our Most Holy Faith. It would be awesome if everyone already has the lists to refer to when stresses come.
Some feel that the blessings are for the next life, and they are. But they are also for now BECAUSE, well, because Jesus said so, but also because we entered into that New Life when we were born again of God (as evidenced by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit with us).
Now we may perceive 'through a glass darkly', as opposed to The Glory of things to come. Yet, we can have MUCH right now.
And the Work of the Spirit is to clean that glass so that we can receive and hold The Light and it can show through us into the world.
It is utterly amazing that God Himself does all He asks us to do.
That is a delightful Truth. And it frees us of every burden.
Whatever our issue, the Answer is the same~GOD WITH US, who Himself meets our every need.
That is the burden removing, yoke destroying Truth.
Going back to Philippians 4:
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Supplication is a request or a petition for ourselves or someone else.
Doubt is the problem:
Hebrews 11:1 1Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
James 1:6 6But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Matthew 21:21 21Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.
Mark 11:22-25 22"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
