NEAR EARTH OBJECTS INCREASE

On Aug. 14, 2019, the network reported 280 fireballs.

I'm guessing if the impact comes we will be totally clueless beforehand, and maybe afterwards too, depending on where the dust settles.
Maybe the tougher question is do we want it to miss us?  Or should we hope for the 'hands down, no doubt about it', 'one and done' hit.
She says as if we had any say in it whatsoever. 

Uhhhh, maybe nothing strange.
