Well it's about time! Maybe some of the rest of the draconian firearms restrictions and laws will be overturned soon too. Maybe establish a castle doctrine and stand your ground ruling. Bring back open carry. California has a long way to go but it's a start. Hope springs eternal - and . . .

S&W .357 would be a better choice, at least thats my opinion. Buying a gun down here is crazytoons. There are damn waiting lists for guns and ammo is gobbled up as soon as it unloads off of the trucks. I have almost given up on buying an AR-15 and its probably best because ammo is just as hard to find as the gun. I found a deal on ten 30 round magazines but what good are they if you got nothing to put in them. I don't want a .308 because of the weight, but those are the only two high capacity "self defense" rifles available. I got shotguns and pistols all over the place, but I need something that will reach out to stop a man (or men) and will be accurate at 200/300 yards to put deer meat on the table
