| SOON… ISRAEL SIGNS HELLISH AGREEMENT
September 6, 2020 by Tom Horn
Antichrist, when he arrives on the world geopolitical scene, will be in the most deceptive disguise ever to obscure truth. One author of the new book Antichrist and the Final Solution, Terry James, put it this way:The first time I saw a television show was around 1950. Our neighbors, an older couple, invited me in each afternoon and allowed me to sit in their living room, with the grandmotherly lady, Omie, serving me home-baked cookies and a “pop” as we called soft drinks in Illinois during those days. It was heaven on earth for those thirty minutes to a boy of eight. With the “William Tell Overture” thumping in the background, there galloped a huge, white horse, with his rider, who was wearing an equally white hat and a black mask. He was followed closely behind by a pinto horse with a man in fringed buckskin aboard. That’s right. It was Silver and Scout, carrying the Lone Ranger and Tonto, his ever-present companion. On every program, the masked man would ride to the rescue in one situation or another. I remember sitting on pins and needles wondering if he would arrive in time during each episode. He always did, of course. In the genre of heroic fiction, the protagonist, the “good guy,” is frequently depicted as the man in the white hat—at least symbolically. We hear these heroes referred to in general terms as the “man on a white horse.” He rides onto the scene with the purpose of righting all wrongs—setting everything as it should be once again. In those episodes of the Lone Ranger, there was always a terrible situation for him to rectify. They were real nail-biters, even with the buffering of cookies and pop to help alieve the angst. The world is presently within a problematic time that will soon lead into an even worse time of trouble. As a matter of fact, the greatest of all prophets, the Lord Jesus Christ, said a time will come that will be worse than any other. He said that it will be a time of “great tribulation.” This is where we get the term “Tribulation,” as applied to the seven years immediately preceding the Second Advent of Christ. We have seen so far that this era is also called Daniel’s seventieth week; it’s the same time frame of those seven years foretold by Jeremiah the prophet as a time of great trouble for God’s chosen people, Israel: “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it” (Jeremiah 30:7).These seven years of horror will follow the Rapture, and will be initiated with the signing of a covenant of false peace by a man, the “prince that shall come” (Daniel 9:26) who has come to be called Antichrist. The Scripture that speaks most specifically to this coming prince is one with which most students of Bible prophecy are thoroughly familiar:And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:1–2)We’re given the picture of the first of the four horses of the Apocalypse as they carry their riders across the last seven years of human history just before Christ’s Second Coming to earth. The first rider on that spectacular white steed is none other than Antichrist. As the prophecy says, he will come forth conquering everything and everyone in his path. Most scholars and students from the fundamentalist camp who are of the pre-Millennial, Pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy believe the bow in this depiction indicates that this “prince” will come in on a peace platform. He has a bow, but displays no arrows. This is exactly the image the prophet Daniel was given to prophesy: “And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many” (Daniel 8:25, a, b).A “crown” is “given” to him, so apparently most of his conquests are like Hitler’s were at the very beginning of his aggression. In the Führer’s initial demands, he met almost no resistance. It seems the same might be the case when the future tyrant called Antichrist rides onto the scene. He will look like a great peacemaker and one who can reestablish order, which will no doubt have been all but totally destroyed. He will even promise prosperity, as Daniel’s prophecy indicates: He will “cause craft to prosper.”However, he “will destroy many” through his conquests, his “peace-making,” and his “causing craft to prosper.” He will be wearing a mask, for sure, and his motives and intentions will be nothing like those of my childhood hero on his white horse who wore a mask for noble reasons. Antichrist’s mask will camouflage for a time the greatest deception ever perpetrated on humanity.World conditions will make the deception one most everyone will fall for, or will take the bait for, as they say, hook, line, and sinker.[i]The first atomic explosion brought mankind to the brink of self-destruction. As a matter of fact, the scientists weren’t at all certain that when the bomb ignited on that early morning at Alamogordo, New Mexico, the atmosphere itself wouldn’t continue to explode in a chain reaction that could not be stopped. True to man’s fallen nature and his tendency to destroy everything he touches, the scientists were willing to take the risk.At the time of the first atomic test, the horrific facts about Hitler’s murder of six million Jews were revealed before the eyes of the world. So great was the reaction that even the elite leaders who wanted to achieve one world government through the infant United Nations organization couldn’t stop the sympathy for the Jews from producing the rebirth of Israel. These two monumental events—the birth of the atomic bomb in 1945 and the rebirth of God’s chosen nation three years later—set the stage for one of the most dramatic prophecies in the Bible regarding end-time matters.Filling Up a Cup of TremblingAgain we come to Zechariah’s forewarning about Jerusalem and the Middle East region, which God says He will make a “cup of trembling” for the whole world:Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it….And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:1–3, 9)The cup is filled with an interesting mixture indeed—one of ancient hatreds, nuclear weaponry, and Mideast oil. The Lord didn’t fill up this cup of deadly ingredients; fallen mankind did. God simply says He will use man’s own sinful mixture to bring this world system to a conclusion so that His Messiah, Jesus Christ, can restore order on this dying, decaying planet. The cleansing scheduled to take place will see pillars of fire mixed with the blood of the rebels opposed to God. A number of places in the Bible describe warfare that might be nuclear, such as the scene described in Joel 2:2–3, which predicts that on “a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness…a fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth.”Even the remaking of the earth at the end of the Millennium seems to be thermonuclear. But, this is not surprising. Science has told us for many years about the nature of the atom, which is held together in a way no one really can explain. The electron, neutron, proton, etc., revolve and stick to each other in some mysterious way. Yet, at the same time, the atom gives off great heat and energy.Jesus, of course, ultimately holds all matter together (see Colossians 1:17). It is Jesus, not the false peace makers who want to rule the world, who will take the burning fuse from the nuclear nightmare and bring real peace: “The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace” (Isaiah 59:.Satan’s SignatureSatan’s first attempt to establish world government was stopped when God personally came to earth and stopped it! The Genesis 11 account of the tower-builders of Babel on the plains of Shinar is the story of humanism, mankind’s philosophy about who should be in charge. That philosophy puts forward the declaration that man can take care of himself and the planet without any help or interference from God. Actually, humanism declares, according to its champions like German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, that “God is dead.”Today there is a movement back to the attitude of the tower builders. Satan’s fingerprints are all over present-day attempts to kick the Creator off the planet. We see this in our own nation’s recent history.Prayer and Bible reading in public schools were stopped by Supreme Court decisions in 1963. In 1973, the High Court’s decision in the abortion case, Roe v. Wade, began the killing of more than sixty-five million babies in their mothers’ wombs, at last estimates.Since those decisions, the US has endured a rise in deadly violence in public schools. Life, in the view of many young people, seems to have been cheapened to the point that murder, rather than playground scuffles, is taking place with more regularity in school hallways and classrooms. Humanism is increasingly ingrained in the thinking of our students. The philosophy is “do what is right in your own eyes,” echoing the warning in Proverbs: “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes” (Proverbs 12:15).The ultimate humanist does what is right in his own eyes; he becomes a law unto himself. Satan’s world dictator, Antichrist, will be that ultimate humanist. The global power brokers are gathering to play God. They think they can force peace upon the rest of us. These internationalist governmental leaders and politicians intend to put an end to war so their New World Order can bring heaven to earth. The true Christ, of course, is always left out of their plans. The whole world will one day, however, accept a false Christ who promises that elusive thing called peace. Satan will at last have achieved putting his Antichrist in place as absolute ruler of this fallen world. He won’t bring peace, but will bring mankind’s worst war ever. When the Lord lifts His mighty hand of restraint from the earth, all peace will disappear. God will give the humanists enough rope, and they will hang themselves. The Dotted Line…Daniel was given a staggering prophecy for the end of the age:And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:26–27)The prophecy indicates a peace process presided over by the devil himself. The satanically possessed human called Antichrist will force the peace “that will destroy many.”Not only will Israel fall for the false peace plan, but the entire world will eagerly accept it. The fear no doubt generated by what happens in the aftermath of the Rapture will be so great that everyone, fearing nuclear devastation, will sign on.The rider on the second of the horses of Apocalypse (Revelation 6), the red one, most prophecy observers believe, represents war unlike that ever experienced on the planet. It is at this time when nuclear exchanges will likely take place between nations, whereas the atomic genie had previously been kept bottled up by God’s staying hand. When the Holy Spirit withdraws as Restrainer (2 Thessalonians 2), that hand will be lifted and war will break out on an unprecedented scale. With the end of civilization on the immediate horizon as a result of the fearful things the leaders of the nations see coming, they will agree to put aside all disagreements—or at least some—for a time. A real cry for peace and safety will indeed be heard around the globe. The great leader who will become Antichrist will appear to be the savior of the world. His reputation will no doubt begin its most dramatic ascent from the time he seduces all into signing on to the covenant of a peace God says is a contract made “with death and hell” (Isaiah 28:16, 18).From the point of Israel’s agreement to follow the Antichrist and his peace plan, things will heat up—literally, in nuclear fire, no doubt. After war breaks forth with the rider on the red horse, the rider on the black horse will follow, indicating great famine and starvation throughout the earth. Then will come death, with the lost souls of the famine and carnage going into Hell because of unbelief. This is prophesied in the symbol of the chloros, or greenish-colored, horse and rider, the fourth rider of Revelation 6.Israel signing onto the covenant made with death and Hell will initiate the worst time in all of history. Again, Jesus said it will be so horrendous that if He didn’t return to put an end to it, no flesh would survive (Matthew 24:25–26).So Antichrist will emerge from the revived Roman Empire. Wars will continue until the seven-year Tribulation reaches its conclusion. Daniel’s 9:27 prophecy stipulates that from the time the Temple and Jerusalem are destroyed until the end of human history, there will be no true peace. The prince to come will make and sign a covenant of security or peace for one week—that is, seven years. After three and a half years of the treaty, however, he will break the agreement, beginning what Jesus called the Great Tribulation and what Jeremiah 30:7 refers to as a time of great trouble, the likes of which no one has ever seen before or will ever see again. This is also called the Apocalypse. The first part of these awesome prophecies has been fulfilled, as we’ve already seen when, in AD 70, General Titus attacked the rebels in Jerusalem and his troops completely destroyed the Temple—just as Jesus had predicted. Many prophecies, however, are yet to be fulfilled. Growing global talk of peace proves that tremendous pressure is building. Not only Mideast war and peace are at issue, but world peace is at stake.UP NEXT: The Prince Makes A “Covenant With Israel” |
