As a native Texan I am appalled our president has called me a Neanderthal. 23 And Me has verified that I have NO Neanderthal ancestry gene in my genetic code. This is not to say Neanderthal lives don’t matter, just sayin’ a lot of us Texans have grounds for a class action suit.

Sen. Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican and a fiscal conservative, said he’s opposed to the cost and scope of the spending package, which provides $350 billion to bail out state and local governments, among many other provisions.
Johnson told WISN 1130 much of the spending in the bill is unnecessary and said it could be whittled down to a package that spends about $400 million.

Since more than 90% of this "COVID relief" bill is not even related to COVID, I think we need a full reading of the bill.
Yes, it could take 10 hours but the American people deserve to know what's in it.

I'm going to make the Senate clerk read the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion bill. All several hundred pages of it.
Then I’m going to offer amendments. Many amendments.
We need to highlight the abuse.
This is not a COVID relief bill.
It's a boondoggle for Democrats.

The board of directors at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas voted to remove Bill Magness from his post, delivering a "60 days' termination notice" to the embattled CEO who has faced numerous calls for his resignation in recent weeks.
His termination is the latest in a series of departures at the regulatory entity after winter storms last month crippled the state's power supply and left more than 4 million people without power, some for days.
