Happy 246th birthday to the @USArmy! Though, the Army’s origins go back even further than 1775. On Dec. 13, 1636 the Mass. Bay Colony passed an act creating three militia regiments around Boston, forming what would become the ARNG - the oldest Army and U.S. military component.
