What are we all missing that we are suppose to see? Splain please.

If I was sure of anything I'd say it out right, believe me!  I thought I had this one, but nope.

So the deal is, we're looking for 10 days dark. Queen E. has 10 days concealed (dark-no info) funeral... There was a date given..then the adjustment from our calendar to Julian calendar.  Some gravy  !Yesterday!  was the death of the 'Queen of Comedy", Betty White.  Yet, here we be..with everything functioning. 
Was the 'swing and a miss' a 'funny' reference?  It seems that way to me. But now we wait again.
