8:00 AM EST Sunday - Russia Puts Nukes into "Special Combat Mode" - This is now a "DEFCON" Situation

At about 8:00 AM eastern US Time on Sunday morning, the Russian Federation placed it's Strategic Nuclear Forces, including Kinzhal and Zircon Hypersonic Missiles, into "Special Combat Mode."  This is the mode necessary before an actual LAUNCH Order can be given, and this is the mode at which the United States enters its DEFCON operations.  We are now facing actual nuclear war.
Countries nuclear weapons are so tightly controlled, that a series of steps must be taken, and a series of conditions must be in-place, before those missiles can be launched.  No one man can ever simply push a button, or turn a key and launch a nuclear weapon.
With the United States, our systems have additional safeguards called "permissive action links" integrated into all our launch systems.   Even if two men in a nuclear silo, either conspired to launch a missile, or went insane together and tried to launch a missile, the missile simply would not launch because the Permissive Action Link (PAL) in the silo, did not get the launch permission from the main US Defense Department system, and that system must have gotten the actual order from the President before it sends permission to the PAL's allowing a launch.
Yes, it is cumbersome.  Yes, it is inconvenient.  It's supposed to be that way because these weapons are simply the most terrible weapons mankind has ever made.   No nuclear-armed country wants - or can afford - any mistakes with these weapons.   Not once.  Ever.   The use of these weapons can never be called accidental.  No one can say that anyone went insane and did it, because there are these other systems in place to prevent any such occurrence.
In Russia, their systems require the civilian authority to Order "Special Combat Mode" before any of Russia's nuclear missiles will launch.  Their missile launch computer systems must see that the Civilian Order to "Special Combat Mode" has been properly given before those systems will allow Russia's nuclear arsenal to be launched.   No special combat mode - no launch.   Period.
Like America, Russia controls their nuclear arsenal very tightly.  The Russians know, as do we Americans, this is not a game.  There is no margin for error with these weapons.
If one country sees the nuclear missiles of another country coming out of silos, then that one country will commence the process for firing back. 
Once the missiles are in the air, there are no self-destruct features.  There is no way to change the course of the missile.  The missiles WILL hit and they WILL detonate.
So this morning, after a weekend of vicious economic sanctions placed on the whim of world leaders, Russia finds its banks locked out of the SWIFT banking system.  They find their airlines banned from most European air space.  They see NATO countries sending lethal weaponry into Ukraine to be used against the Russian military operations there, and they realize the West is simply not going to stop placing NATO military bases around Russia, and putting missiles on those bases aimed at Russia.
Russia sees that many nations in the world are very clearly planning the actual take-down of Russia; perhaps to divide the massive country up, and grab all its natural resources.
Seeing all these realities, and having tried via extensive Diplomatic Efforts to negotiate Security Guarantees for themselves, but those Diplomatic Efforts being rejected by the West, Russia finds itself at zero hour.  They realize they either fight it out now, while they still have a chance to win, or be put in a position where they won't be able to fight it out at all.
So, this morning, thanks to Bankers and the SWIFT System Blockade, and thanks to countries like the UK, the US, Poland sending tons of lethal weapons to Ukraine, the world finds itself facing Russia's "Special Combat Mode."
Now, the girly-men of the West, which includes most Leaders and most top military officials, delude themselves by saying "Russia wouldn't dare."  These incompetent leaders, little more than self-absorbed, political, fags, and military mental weaklings, who wear chests full of medals that are really only Participation Trophies, know that nuclear war would be so horrific, that humanity itself would perish.  So, in their weak minds, they believe Russia would never actually fire missiles because to do so would end everything.   These political fags and military mental weaklings are factually wrong.   Russia WOULD.  Because for Russia, they are already facing themselves being wiped out.   The economic sanctions will smash their economy, and the economy will smash the country. 
So Russia is, right now, actually being destroyed.   Of course they will destroy in reply. They have no other choice.
And so, this Sunday morning, the world has been put on nuclear notice.  Russia's Strategic Nuclear Forces, including their Kinzhal and Zircon hypersonic missiles, are now in Special Combat Mode -- the exact mode necessary to authorize a full scale, nuclear, launch.

The Associated Press (AP) is now confirming what I reported above.   Their story, which came out about 90 minutes AFTER mine, reported the matter, as follows:
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — In a dramatic escalation of East-West tensions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian nuclear forces put on high alert Sunday in response to what he called “aggressive statements” by leading NATO powers.
The order means Putin wants Russia’s nuclear weapons prepared for increased readiness to launch and raises the threat that Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine and the West’s response to it could boil over into nuclear warfare.
Amid the worrying development, the office of Ukraine’s president said a delegation would meet with Russian officials as Moscow’s troops drew closer to Kyiv.
Putin, in giving the nuclear alert directive, cited not only the alleged statements by NATO members but the hard-hitting financial sanctions imposed by the West against Russia, including the Russian leader himself.
Speaking at a meeting with his top officials, Putin told his defense minister and the chief of the military’s General Staff to put the nuclear deterrent forces in a “special regime of combat duty.”
“Western countries aren’t only taking unfriendly actions against our country in the economic sphere, but top officials from leading NATO members made aggressive statements regarding our country,” Putin said in televised comments.

I have long told all of you to be prepared for emergencies with food, water, medicines, a way to generate electric and fuel for that method, a way to have emergency heat and fuel for that, too. Of course, I mentioned having flashlights for each family member, portable radios for news (Shortwave/AM/FM) and plenty of spare batteries for those things.
I have, in  the past, suggested you have a significant First-Aid kit, but if nothing else, a few boxes of 4" x 4" sterile gauze pads, and multiple 4" rolls of "Cling" gauze to wrap those bandages. 
I have also said you need to have yourself communications gear like CB or HAM radios in your house and in each car, or even Family Radio Service (FRS) or General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) walkie talkies.  When communications go down, you need to have a method to communicate with others, locally.
Never before have I urged you to get these things, but I am urging you now.  Time is up.  We've arrived at the edge of actual nuclear war.   If you don't have "preps" then you will have no chance of survival.  None.  At all.

Story UNLOCKED -- ZIRCONs On The Move -- UPDATED 6:30 AM

ZIRCON Hypersonic Nuclear Missiles (Land Attack Missile Version) have been loaded onto tracked, Road-Mobile Launchers, and are presently on rail cars being moved publicly inside Russia.

Prototypes were test-launched from a Tu-22M3 bomber in 2012–2013. 

Launches from a ground-based platform followed in 2015, with first success achieved in 2016.

In April 2017, it was reported Zircon had reached a speed of Mach 8 (6,100 mph; 9,800 km/h; 2,700 m/s) during a flight test. Zircon was again test-fired on 3 June 2017, almost a year earlier than had been announced by Russian officials. 

In November 2017, Colonel General Viktor Bondarev stated that the missile was already in service. Another flight test reportedly occurred on 10 December 2018, during which the missile demonstrated that it could attain a speed of Mach 8.

On 20 February 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed the missile is capable of accelerating up to Mach 9 and destroying both sea and land targets within 1,000 km (540 nmi; 620 mi). By the year's end, on 24 December 2019, Putin stated that Zircon's land-based version was in development.

INVISIBLE TO RADAR

Zircon can travel at a speed of Mach 8 – Mach 9 (6,100–6,900 mph; 9,800–11,000 km/h; 2.7–3.1 km/s). This has led to concerns that it could penetrate existing defense systems. Because it flies at hypersonic speeds within the atmosphere, the air pressure in front of it forms a plasma cloud as it moves, absorbing radio waves and making it practically invisible to active radar systems (Plasma stealth). 

The final section of the missile's trajectory will be overcome in under 10 seconds.  As such, the enemy does not have time to carry out all the necessary procedures needed to even TRY to intercept it.   Moreover, the Zircon exchanges information in flight and can be controlled by commands if necessary to alter course of change target.

Missiles like this could, in theory, be fired from Russia, and hit the Capital cities of NATO member countries bordering Russia.  You know, the Capital cities of countries participating in ejecting Russia from the SWIFT banking system; or other countries supplying weapons or now fighter jets to Ukraine, to be used fighting Russia.    It would happen so fast, and with such Stealth, that the countries being targeted wouldn't even know the missiles were coming until their Capitals got hit and blown up.

The 200 kiloton warheads would obliterate the cities that were hit.
