I love it, love the message. We don't stay stuck in the fallen world, clearly meant to hold us down, hold us captive. Prevent us from knowing 'who we really are", beloved sons and daughters of the Most High God and the earthly vessel for the Kingdom. We ARE come! And we come with Another Way which is Truth and Life and Life More Abundant. The world says we are weak. Do we believe it? God, the Living Word, says we are strong. Do we believe it?
He could do no great works there because of their UNBELIEF.
In our OWN Power? No. "By My Holy Spirit, saith the Lord." ALL THINGS ARE MADE NEW.
Jesus came to set the captives free. Yes, from the wages of sin. ALSO, for the forgiveness of sin SO THAT we could come 'Boldly before the Throne'. And so that we can Receive the Holy Spirit.
To 'elevate', to 'Come up hither'..Know the Word and the Spirit as the Truth. Speak the Truth, meditate on the Truth night and day. Come out of the lies of the fallen world. It's not for you. God Alone is Truth.
