Think about this. The Storm’s original starting point was in the Bay of Campeche, which is part of the Gulf of Mexico, Hurricane Milton took a path that is exceptionally rare, moving from west to east towards Florida.
This trajectory, from the southwest Gulf of Mexico towards the west coast of Florida, is historically anomalous, with the last recorded hurricane following a similar path occurring in 1867.
This makes Hurricane Milton's direction particularly noteworthy and, in modern terms, "unheard of" due to the infrequency of it. This will definitely be one for the books.

Tues. 8 Oct. 2024: Seven days after Milton comes Hurricane Nadine. Nadine will hit roughly the same area, which means some places in Florida will have seen three major hurricanes in three weeks time.
On Mon. 7 Oct. 2024 a NOAA plane was observed cloud-seeding the mega Hurricane Milton as it made a strange U turn to head straight for the Florida Coast. NEW: Industrial dumpster ends up on the roof of a Palm Beach Gardens home in Florida after a tornado ripped through the neighborhood.
There were reportedly 40 confirmed tornadoes across Florida as Hurricane Milton approached the state.
Industrial dumpsters typically weigh between two and six tons.
The incident happened in the gated Avenir Palm Beach Gardens community.

This is getting insane. Asheville, North Carolina resident just got a letter notifying her that her mortgage loan has been sold to Vanguard owned company
Amazing timing… Are we really still pretending Hurricane Helene isn’t being used as a land grab?
Some people in the comments of this post say they got the same letter who live in the area. Absolutely insane.
