They're trying to pull that tropical system (Ivo/Juliette) as far north as possible to put your fires out Spring. Next they'll blow it up over OR & or WA to keep whipping it up the West coast. Just pray it doesn't bring a bunch of lightning with it and they don't flood the entire southwest in the process.

Well I can tell y'll this, it's been HOT HOT HOT the past few days with very high humidity here. That last tropical storm breakdown, the one that flooded Las Vegas just brought California mugginess and didn't even get near the fires up north. This is the normal weather pattern for these tropical storm breakdowns. Those storms break apart over Arizona, Utah, and Nevada mostly.  But I'm still praying for rain around Yosemite. The southwest needs the rain too but not all at once.
