| I've only had Thai Chicken and rice fron Lean Cuisine but it was really tasty and so I want to get some take-out and surprise my hubby. He's not an adventurous eater like me and is basically a chinese -General Tso's chicken sort of fella. He hates curry and doesn't care for lemongrass (yummmmm) What do you Thai afficionados suggest? It should be on the sweeter side and nothing with a weird texture or too herbal-y. I'm not picky and will order something I probably can't pronounce | |

| I have no dish names for you, but I do have a warning. Thai food can be really, really, REALLY hot. Be sure and ask before you get it - those cute little chilis are nigh unto deadly. They laugh at jalapenos and call them wimpy.
I love the stuff, but be warned. |

| Oh HO! Hot eh? Maybe I should try a buffet.... I wonder if there is such a thing as a Thai Buffet. And Proskuneo, sure! Recipes are wonderful! We have plenty of room to post a few good ones. We actually had a food category once upon a time for prepping and healthy stuff. | |

| I love Thai food
the obvious safe thing would be to get some Thai fried rice, they have pineapple rice to which is really good and its fairly safe I think, if you have had chinese or japanese fried rice its not that different
Drunken Noodles is also good (yes that is their name); its a big flat noodle with their peanut (?) type sauce and you can usually pick your type of protein (chicken/pork/beef) to add with the noodles (same with most their dishes)
and if you are feeling adventurous try one of the currys (yellow is probably the safest) these are my favorites!, they come with potatos and chicken usually and white rice
most places also you can tell them how spicy you want it, from mild to very hot
man after thinking about all this I need to talk the wife into going for some thai tonight! | |

| Thank you very much Pony! those are great suggestions I will keep in mind. I had some peanut sauce in a BeniHana's once and I loved it. You described it so that I want to get some too! | |
