Sinkhole inside home swallows man

How absolutely dreadful!

We live in a karst region (not terribly far from Mammoth Caves), and we actually had the earth tested below our house. We have a lake under our town! People have actually gone boating on it in the past (it is blocked now because people have disappeared in that cave system, also). And periodically cows disappear from the fields - they just drop into nothingness. Poor cows.

There is a very strong layer of limestone under us, so we're safe for at least another 50 years or so... unless the New Madrid goes off.

Oh well, I'll see you guys in heaven.

But I did think about it afterwards, and a drill or false flag, or warning of
impending doom for the Gulf side, makes infinitely more sense.

Where's the beef, where's the hole in the earth, where is there any

I just cannot see how the roof has no bend in it , nor the grass up and around the house not one sign of depression. Not one wall crack. Not one picture of the inside of the house . This does not add up.

I'm reading on Yahoo this morning that the hole has reached 20 feet across but stayed inside the perimeter of the home. Something doesn't add up here. They started demolition this morning, BTW.

It must be the lighting. I have a calf that is due tomorrow. So I'm on calf watch and getting antsy. We will have milk again! I still have a raccoon, but this one is a year old. My last coonie had babies and moved away.

I have six horses but am trying to downsize my herd. I have an interested buyer right now.

Oh, and we have a granddaughter due the end of June. Bonus!! lol

Great News Hardamber! congratulations on everything! I heard a preacher say the other day that he wasn't sure if Christ's return with the Bride on white horses was literal...... The white horses part and I was like, "I'm not listening"! I am so looking forward to having a horse again! I miss everything about them. The way the dogs would be so happy when the farrier gave them the hoof trimmings, scraping bot eggs off of their ankles( or whatever those little yellow eggs were,I'm starting to forget) putting the shiny stuff on their coat, even cleaning out the barn.

They left the body of that man in the hole and covered it with gravel. And they are actually discussing whether they will build on that site again - awful.

I smell a rat - especially how this just disappeared from the news cycle.

What? That in itself seems off, How deep is the hole that they wouldn't retreive the body and if it's a sinkhole, why on earth would they build on top of it? It's wacko!

Heck.....how much would it take to fill it?

Construct a few out houses over the hole, invite congress to take a seat, and you could fill it in about one day tops.

Here's good shots of the sink hole. I don't think they can get too close because the ground is too unsteady. Remember the Los Angeles sink hole when an LA fire truck got too close and ended up half in half out of the hole?

The guy's brother says Jeff's whole bedroom was swallowed up.

Maybe it was a message to former Fla. Governor J. [Jeb] Bush not to
run for POTUS.
