| Normal text orange/ emphasis in red What's (seemingly)out of place here...? Now I'll add my comments in blue...
Revelation 20-21 New International Version (NIV) The Thousand Years 20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. So there will be "Nations" out there during the 1K years...aside from the Kingdom of YHVH...
4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
So there will be those who died outside the great tribulation that will not be with Christ during the 1K years....
6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. The Judgment of Satan 7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog Satan will again deceive "nations outside the kingdom" ???? very interesting!!
—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, So YHVH's kingdom will be set up like in the wilderness...with the 12 tribes encircled
the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. The Judgment of the Dead 11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.
Second ressurection waaaay after the first...of good and bad(those with and without Christ) judged at the same time...but who is left out?? Those who made it alive through the Great Tribulation?? (I think so)
14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. A New Heaven and a New Earth 21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[b] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bridebeautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[c] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
I'll get to this one next... The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb 9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[d] in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits[e] thick.[f] 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[g]21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass. 22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. There will be kings(nations) again after all this of the earth being made new...??
25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.
Looks like there's a lot unaccounted for in all the major religions' eschatology... A lot of this catches my attention and it seems like most teaching stops a few chapters back...
I'd love to see what anybody has to add to this...I can't seem to get my mind off this area.

Yes Groundzero, please share your thoughts. I believe the Bible as the literal and completed Word of God!

| Yes, Groundzero you have brought up a very interesting topic that I've thought and studied about for many years. My studies have certainly brought to light for me that many things don't fit as most teach and preach. Many people take the verses and mold them into a set view, instead of reading the words that are there. Take the words for what they say,not what we want them to say.
One area that has caught my attention for years now is........" the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished."
Those who were not part of the first resurrection are humans who have died and have remained unresurrected until the 1,000 year period of time is fulfilled. Most people believe "the rest of the dead" will be resurrected after a Little Season of Satan is fully concluded and the White Throne Judgment is about to take place. The words do not read after a Little Season of Satan is finished, but after the One Thousand years were finished. If it is only exactly 1,000 years fulfilled then a little season of Satan must be fulfilled also after "the rest of the dead" live again.
How much time in our time frame of today will Satan have to deceive the nations once again?........How long is a Little Season?
......."that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season"........(Revelation 20:3)
We know that before the Millennium begins that the Antichrist and the False Prophet will be cast into the lake of fire. Satan is locked away in the Bottomless Pit and will have no direct influence on those living during the One Thousand years.
Satan will be restrained in the Bottomless Pit for that 1,000 year period of time and can't deceive the nations of the earth. But once that 1,000 year period of time is fulfilled Satan's restraining will end for what Revelation calls "A Little Season". Satan now goes forth to deceive the nations of the earth from all four corners of the earth.
Revelation 20:6......."Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."
One thing to notice is that those who are blessed to take part in the first resurrection are to be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
If they are to reign for 1,000 years only, then what about "A Little Season" of Satan that comes after 1,000 years are fulfilled?
Revelation 20:7-9
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
We can read that there are saints here on earth during "A Little Season" but that's to be expected after the rule of Jesus Christ and teaching of the priest for 1,000 years.

| u need to realize that new & old test. saints are in the new jerusalem as the wife of God,being raptured there prior to judgement, to the place Christ is preparing for us now, the tribulation saints are the 1st resurrection, to rule & reign w/ Christ for the thousand years...
rev20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
