| America threatened with ‘heaviest damage in history’on November 13, 2013In a pointed message to Washington, the second in just days, an Iranian general has warned of great destruction being delivered to the United States.“The Americans’ catch-phrase ‘the military option is on the table’ (over the nuclear issue) is a bluff,” said Gen. Massoud Jazayeri, deputy chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces.“They are aware of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s capabilities. The slightest military mistake against Iran will make the Americans witness the heaviest damage in their history in their own eyes,” the semi-official Fars News Agency reported Monday. On Saturday the general said, “America’s interests and all of Israel are within the range of the Islamic Republic and there is not the slightest doubt among Iran’s armed forces to confront the American government and the Zionists (Israel).”Jazayeri said Israel is pulling the strings of Washington and “the American government is one of the most hated and evil governments in the world.”Meanwhile, Iranian Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehqan told reporters on Monday that the regime’s armed forces are ready to confront any threats by the enemy and that America cannot afford a military confrontation with Iran.“Of course, the Americans are not capable of launching a military strike against Iran because neither do the global and regional conditions allow them to do so, nor do they have such capability,” Dehqan said.Monday’s statements come in the wake of last weekend’s failure in Geneva between the 5+1 world powers and Iran to produce any deals. Iran had insisted on what it has always demanded: the right to enrich uranium, the right to expand its nuclear facilities and the removal of major sanctions on its oil and banking industries in exchange for halting enrichment to the 20 percent level, which could be converted to a weaponization grade in just weeks.Iran also refused to give up any amount of its already-enriched uranium, which is enough for more than six nuclear bombs.Today the Islamic regime has 19,000 centrifuges online, 10 tons of low-enriched uranium, 400 pounds of highly enriched uranium at the 20 percent level and a thousand ballistic missiles in heavily fortified facilities or on mobile vehicles. It is also working on its Arak reactor, which could produce plutonium as a second path to nuclear bombs, and on intercontinental ballistic missiles through collaboration with North Korea.Days before the start of negotiations in Geneva, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, lashed out at America and Israel: “Today, Americans care the most for the decadent Zionist regime and circles because the (Obama) administration and Congress are dominated by powerful capitalists and Zionist companies … but we are not forced to treat them with care. We have said since the very first day (of the Islamic Revolution), and we do say it now and we will say it in future as well, that we believe the Zionist regime is an illegitimate and bastard regime.”As reported exclusively on WND in June, Gen. Gholamreza Jalali, head of Iran’s Passive Defense Organization, threatened the United States with bio-warfare that could contaminate American food, water and animals.“Biological viruses are extremely clever and have the capability to distinguish their environment. These viruses can only be recognized in labs,” he said, stressing that these agents are easily hidden in the environment and can cause widespread epidemics.Jalali said that viruses, parasites, botanical poisons and animal poisons can be used in biological warfare.“The environmental threats include humans, domesticated animals, poultry, environment, natural resources, food industry and drinking water,” he said.
