More footage of military vehicles being delivered surfaces online

Footage of hundreds of armored trucks, similar to ones reportedly purchased recently by the Department Of Homeland Security has appeared online, raising more questions over their intended use.

The video was uploaded to YouTube last week by a user who stated that it was shot in the middle of the desert between Hackberry and Peach Springs, Arizona.

It shows hundreds of military style trucks loaded on to a train, presumably in the process of being delivered domestically for law enforcement or military purposes.

The video raises significant questions in the wake of reports that the Department of Homeland Security, headed by Janet Napolitano, recently purchased around 2,700 MRAP trucks that many believe are to be deployed to local law enforcement agencies around the country.
It is clear that the DHS does have fleets of armoured vehicles intended for use in the US.

I call bullcrap on this video. It looks like nothing more than the movement of military vehicles from one place to another. No proof that these are in any way connected to DHS.
Now, if the video showed the MRAP vehicles that DHS recently purchased, being transported, I'd be concerned, but this is just paranoia.

- Kansas Congressman Timothy Huelscamp said last week that threats should be made to withdraw funding from the DHS if it didn’t explain why it was purchasing so many bullets, remarking, “They have no answer for that question. They refuse to answer to answer that.”

- Earlier this month, New Jersey Congressman Leonard Lance said, “Congress has a responsibility to ask Secretary Napolitano as to exactly why these purchases have occurred,” signaling his intention to get answers.

- Californian Congressman Doug LaMalfa and 14 of his House colleagues have written a letter to the Department of Homeland Security asking if the purchases are, “being conducted in a manner that strategically denies the American people access to ammunition.”

This is getting a little creepy.

According to one estimate, since last year the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.

DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).


The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.

Although I’ve seen and read several online blurbs about this vehicle of late, I decided to dig slightly deeper and discover more about the vehicle itself.
The new DHS sanctioned ‘Street Sweeper’ (my own slang due to the gun ports) is built by Navistar Defense (NavistarDefense.com), a division within the Navistar organization. Under the Navistar umbrella are several other companies including International Trucks, IC Bus (they make school buses), Monaco RV (recreational vehicles), WorkHorse (they make chassis), MaxxForce (diesel engines), and Navistar Financial (the money arm of the company).

DHS even released a video on their newly purchased MRAPs.

I'm referring to the video. Because of videos like this, any movement of military hardware is construed as DHS, which is ridiculous. While I agree that the recent actions of the DHS are troubling, we can't attribute everything military to be a threat to our freedom. Discernment is necessary.

True not all are painted to be used by DHS, but do look at the news article where DHS says they will ABSORB THE MILITARY, one big happy socialist police force eh?

My son personally witnessed over 100 Bradley vehicles come into Hayward Ca. via train, this is next to Oakland. As far as we know None left!

There is no repair facility near this area, and there is no base.

They are probably stored in warehouse area near rail yards.

They were first seen in Watsonville south of the Bay Area, I called my son to tell him about them and next day they were coming through town.

This was recorded on 1/20/2012 in Watsonville, CA. The train carrying what appeared to be over 100 Bradley Fighting Vehicles was traveling southbound and was also transporting what appears to be fuel tankers.

This above report says south bound... OOPS then the train ends up north bound in Hayward.

Congressman Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) speaking with radio host Laura Ingraham. Said the Department of Homeland Security has still refused to answer questions from multiple members of congress concerning the large purchases of ammunition (estimated at over 1.6 billion bullets) and other very alarming weapons that have recently been obtained by the domestic organization.

Well, that's a nice little "Hummer" the DHS has there. Loved the tour the military man gave. I think I will go trade in my Jeep for one - sounds like it might come in pretty handy! Gas mileage probably stinks though...

Those seem like they are probably the vehicles that Ken Peters saw in his tribulation dreams. Now just picture the "operators" in the vehicle all with powder blue helmets, and we have ourselves a genuine fulfilled vision from Ken!! Yessiree, it's a gonna get interesting pretty soon...

At least one branch of the U.S. military is scrimping and saving every bullet it can while the Department of Homeland Security is on a bullet-buying spree.

Marine Corps Commandant James F. Amos blames sequester budget cuts.

In a video to Marines, he says, “I ask you to save every round, every gallon of gas, that you take every single aspect, or opportunity, in training to get the most bang for the buck.”

Amos said it’s “no time to do business as usual.”

Things have changed. The landscape has changed,” he said. “I need you to be conservative in the way we do business.”

Sequester cuts do not seem to have slowed down the massive purchase of bullets by DHS. WND bas been closely following the department’s big buildup of ammo, reporting DHS bought more than 1.6 billion rounds over the last year.

Members of Congress are demanding the Obama administration explain why it is stockpiling a huge arsenal of ammunition and weapons.

“They have no answer for that question. They refuse to answer to answer that,” said Rep. Timothy Huelscamp, R-Kan.

Rep. Leonard Lance, R-N.J., said he wants a “full explanation.”

DHS has argued it is buying in bulk to save money, explaining it uses as many as 15 million rounds a year for training law enforcement agents. But the 1.6 billion rounds would be enough for more than 100 years of training.

Additionally, the DHS is buying hollow-point bullets, which experts say are rarely used for training exercises. The DHS ordered 240,000 hollow-point rounds last month and has now placed an order for 360,000 more rounds.

It’s not just the Marines who are struggling to get by. Even local law enforcement agencies are having a tough time finding ammo.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she believes the federal government is building an arsenal to prepare for civil unrest if the country goes bankrupt.

Retired U.S. Army Captain Terry M. Hestilow has written a letter to Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, warning that “the recent appropriation of weapons by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that can only be understood as a bold threat of war by that agency, and the Obama administration, against the citizens of the United States of America.”
