Found this today on a hill near where I work (I have persmission)... most amazing lithic I've ever seen.
At the base there is a notch for fixing the image to a pole. Looks almost Egyptian in design.
The site has 'pre-clovis' artifacts dating back as far as 13,000 years. I've found extreamly large tools in the pleistocene alluvials that were laid down at the end of the last ice age. Some are so large that it takes two people to lift them.
