And I might add, until recently 'in lieu of' was a lesser used prefix meaning or usage of 'anti'.  So before the Real Christ you have the deception, as it seems at least to me. It wouldn't really be much of a deception to deceive the elect if they were already raptured away, no? I hope I'm wrong and its crowburger time, nom nom nom.

Did I mention I meant to delete this?  

Mostly because I don't want to have to put together the study that this
is going to require, and can be argued as a matter of interpretation.

it's just one of those things,if you don't believe it's pretrib, you can't see the promise.  I won't let anyone steal my hope again, because living the other way sucks. It really does! I much rather wait for Jesus every day than in a few years.   I tried both, I can see both sides, so I made a choice. The choice that keeps me on my toes.

I agree with you Delfi! I'd much prefer to watch and wait for the Lord Jesus!

I refuse to discuss this topic anymore. It really splits us. One way or another someday we will be brought into unity on this subject.

This is something that I am new to studying actually. In 08' 09' I was familiar with the pre/mid/post/never teachings, but I never paid any mind to actually putting my nose into the study, even though I had a dream about something to the effect of being raptured, but I digress. Today it's something I find very interesting, especially when you consider the Vaticans plans for disclosure, the TV show on HBO, and the upcoming Nick Cage movie. Matter of fact, after I post this I am going to watch Gary Stearmans presentation on Pretrib.

It's quite possible we're all right, each to his/her own calling.

In John 21, Peter hears from the resurrected but not yet ascended Jesus, of his own future days on earth and asks him what awaits John:

¹⁹ This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
²⁰ Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved  following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
²¹ Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
²² Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

My mornings are brighter now. Last week I awakened with the knowledge that the antichrist hasn't even showed up yet, it's going to be forever until Jesus gets here!    

This week I've awakened with the happiness that Jesus can come today!!!! Woot!
It has absolutely lifted my spirits!
