The risk of an eruption at Iceland’s Bardarbunga volcano has increased, with signs of “ongoing magma movement”, Iceland’s meteorological office says.

An orange alert indicates that a volcano is showing “escalating unrest with increased potential of eruption”, or is erupting without any major volcanic ash emissions.

A red alert means that an eruption is “imminent”, or is underway with “significant emission of volcanic ash into the atmosphere”.

I’ve written on Iceland’s volcano’s before, especially in 2010 when the  Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupted and closed the airspace over Europe for two weeks. While the world has been focused on the ongoing slaughter from ISIL, in Iraq, the continuing tension between HAMAS and Israel, the Ebola virus claiming over 1000 lives, the riots in Ferguson, and the war in the Ukraine, not to mention record drought in California, and the instability of the dollar—think BRICS here—the Bardarbunga volcano has shown signs of erupting.

This volcano is a super volcano like the one in Yellowstone, which, according to some might also be showing signs of erupting soon.

If Bardarbungu erupts—and let’s hope it doesn’t—it could be a game changer and here’s why.

1. The ash cloud would cover the globe blocking out the sunlight and creating a perpetual winter. This happened when the Krakatua volcano erupted in 1883 creating a tsunami which killed thousands of people and blocked out the sunlight for over a year.

2. If—and let’s hope this stays in the “if” category—this happens, it will affect food prices as crops would not ripen. We are already experiencing a massive bee die-off in the hives all over the USA. I recently spoke to a farmer who told me all of his bees had died off last year. He lamented and stated that without bees there’s no harvest.

3. Airplanes would be grounded as jets can not fly in skies that are choked with volcanic debris. How would that affect Israel, who relies on her air force to counteract the enemy nations she is surrounded by?

I believe what we are seeing ties in with the prophecies in the Bible. While some will insist that these signs can not be interpreted as they just arebusiness as usual, I know that Gary Stearman, Tom Horn, Chuck Missler, and yours truly look at the events culminating on this planet and believe we are in the last days.

Why? Because Jesus told us what to look for.

These are Jesus words. They are the signs we are supposed to be looking for that will manifest before He returns. So if He tells us what to look for, then we should look!

In closing todays post. These signs that Jesus warned us about are happening on a global level. It’s up to each of us to come to terms with them. Can we interpret these events as the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy? Yesterday I wrote about the Coming Great Deception. I believe this is yet another sign indicating we are moving toward a climax in world history, or what the Bible calls The Tribulation Period. When taken together, from my vantage point as a Watchman, these events are signs of the times. I would posit that we are living in unprecedented times. One thing is for certain, if the Bardarbunga volcano erupts it will be a game changer….
